This family run restaurant is our favourite in Selcuk and we always look forward to having lunch there when we visit the market on Saturdays. The food and service are excellent.

“worth a visit”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Very good food, and always friendly staff. I always return to this restaurant whenever I am in Turkey. I take all my friends that I meet with me and they all like this restaurant. You meet people from all over the world and if you ever pass Selcuk you should make time to visit this nice family restaurant.

“Wonderful Moussaka!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

Very good place, we stay between Christmas and New Eve's Day in Selçuk, looking for archeological sites, and almost every evening we liked to have dinner here.
The place is clean, the owner is extremely kind (so as all Turkish people we met), speaks English and likes to have a chat with the customers. The plates are maybe a little "westernized" compared to other places, but they are very good, especially the soups (we had every evening), the Turkish meatballs but above all them the moussaka; it was not high season, so they don't have all plates (the pide cook was on holiday...).
We definitely recommend this place.

“Consistently great food”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Our first visit to Selcuk was last August. We knew friends who had visited Tat Restaurant but I wanted to see for myself. It met all expectations. Everything is made from scratch, food was consistently good and we made it the main restaurant we ate in for the entire three weeks.
The owners are very friendly, always happy to help out. We really fell in love with the place. They even arranged cooking demonstration lessons for my children. We return this August - cant wait!

“Disappointed”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

We paid the restaurant a visit because of its good reviews on Trip Advisor but we were utterly disappointed. The cold starters were all not available, probably due to the low tourist season. My friend had the fish casserole while I had the shrimp casserole. The fish casserole didn't come in a casserole dish, and looked and tasted like fried fish instead! The shrimp casserole was overly salty and the service was minimal. All in all, the food was average and we were truly disappointed.
