“One of best meals, easy on wallet”
Reviewed May 15, 2014

We got free tea! In fact, unlimited! This is the first time in Turkey we didn't have to pay for something to drink. There is regular tea, apple tea, and a couple of other choices that are free.
Food is delicious, in just the right amount, fresh, perfectly seasoned and grilled. The waitress even told us we were ordering too much. We were a bit surprised by her bold suggestion but in the end we knew she was right and she saved us money and possible indigestion. Knowing me I'd shove as much food down as possible, especially when everything was so good. We removed 2 of 5 items we ordered (for 3 people.) In their place we ordered Efes Pilsen and Turkish coffee after the meal. Service is friendly, warm, and welcoming. Mehmet came to say hello to us personally and inquired how we liked our food. After the meal, they tried to offer tours but are not pushy. We already had all our tours pre-booked so there were no further discussions on that.
As it was a warm evening, we sat outside on the benches. Unfortunately there was construction going on very close by so the noise was a bit bothersome. By the time you go they would be finished with that. However, the feral cats will always be there, waiting for scraps.

“Tasty Turkish Food in a Nice Outdoor Setting...”
Reviewed May 15, 2014

We had an enjoyable lunch here... the staff were all very friendly and I enjoyed my chicken "durum" (it's like a wrap with chicken pieces, lettuce, tomato, onion and, surprisingly, french fries!). Hubby also enjoyed his mixed grill and Turkish coffee. Seating is nice outdoor tables in a lovely area shaded by a big mulberry tree, so the atmosphere is also very pleasant. A great choice for lunch or dinner in Selcuk!

“You'll be back every night!”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

We stumbled across this place on the way back to the guesthouse one night. I ordered the chicken shish, which was fresh, good sized and good value. The guys there are lovely and gave us free bread with yoghurt and chilli sauce on the side, along with free herbal and black tea! We ate there every night we were in Selcuk, clean plate every time, highly recommended!!

“A lot of food, excellent taste, good location, nice boss”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

We lived right in the hotel next to the restaurant, and we were so surprised to see that the NO.1 ranking restaurant is at our door.
There are many food in this place, but what impressed the most is the quantity of the food.
In Cappadocia or some other places in Turkey, we had gone to the places which charge a lot but only a small plate of food. In this place, the boss provides a lot of food and the price are reasonable.
He himself is also a very kind hearted person and chat with us during lunch and dinner( you are right! we had two meals here though we spent only 1 day in Selcuk).
Nice place, if I had any chance going to Turkey again, this will be the place I definitely will go to,
