We went to Assk for Saturday breakfast and the place was busy! I really enjoyed the bubbling atmosphere but if you're in a hurry, or not keen on crowded spaces, I'd avoid Assk on the weekends. The food was hearty with great traditional Turkish options, very fresh and delivered very quickly - particularly given the kitchen must've been flat out. The menu was pretty extensive and certainly provided choices for all tastes. We were offered a table right on the water which in theory seemed very lucky. In reality, sitting in direct sun in the beautiful warm weather meant that we were sweating in the first five minutes and then uncomfortable for the rest of the meal. Our fault really as we could've chosen another table, but by the time we realised the place was absolutely full and there was no option to move. Our tip: chose a table in the shade on sunny days and sit back, relax and enjoy the views.
