I was invited to this restaurant. I believe he does appreciate me, at least if I consider the quality of the service, the food and, especially, the locality itself. This is quite some restaurant. Just the presents the owner received fills out two rooms if not even more. The ground floor is full of these. We ate outside as the weather was great.

The wine was excellent as well as the service. As my friend chose the food together with the maitre de, all I can really say is: it was excellent Turkish food. Loved it. Maybe choosing with the personel is the way to do it! On the other hand, I have no idea if the price was high or not but I cannot imagine that it was cheap.

Forget the new wave of the meat and "steakhouse" game like Gunaydin and Nusret and look no further than Beyti for the OG (Original Gangster) of protein frenzy!

Established in 1945, the restaurant is the mecca of all people looking to get the real Turkish meat experience: kebaps, meatballs, lamb chops, ribeyes. The meat selection goes all the way from traditional Ottoman Cuisine to modern steakhouse fare and the side dishes are phenomenal to say the least. They also produce their world famous mustard in house and you can even take some home to relive the experience.

The restaurant is a large building with multiple dining rooms and balconies and allow for multiple private events to take place simultaneously. It has been the go-to dining destinations for hundreds of kings, presidents and other dignitaries and Mr. Beyti is the face of quality Turkish dining since forever, holding the"Baillage d'Honneur" from Chaine des Rotisseurs.

The only downside is the location which is fairly out of the downtown area. It is pretty much next to the Ataturk airport so you can arrange for a lunch/dinner either before or after your flight to fully enjoy your time there.

If you visit Istanbul and really a nice turkish food Beyti is the place. It is a historical restaurant run by the same owner since 1945 and doesn't have any other outlet. Food is always good specially the meats , you can also taste some turkish specialities. I would highly recommend rice cooked in a clay pot with mushrooms and doner . Staff is very courteous and efficient. They also have nice collection of turkish wines and per person expect to pay around 200 TL excluding tips.

Beyti is one of the unique and the oldest upscale meat restaurant in the nice neighborhood of Istanbul… For a long time, it is the one of the best place where every celebrity who visited Istanbul definitely stop by… In last 10 years, alternative places are opened, some have better views but Beyti never disappoints and never discomforts the guests… I enjoy dining since my childhood…

Anyone that visits Turkey knows that the standard of food in the country is absolutely amazing, for me personally Beyti was my favorite restaurant I got to visit, it is slightly expensive by Istanbul's standards, but well worth it in my opinion!
