I knew about this restaurant from tripadvisor and I remember that I have read in one of the comments that "you will be treated a royal treatment" and for that I've decided to give it a try. I went their with my husband and son and Hakan made it a royal wonderful unforgettable experience. The service was great, the food was delicious , the view was beautiful and the atmosphere was so cozy. Hakan offers my son a free ice cream and when he knows that my son don't like ice cream he brought a juice for him instead also for free. Also when my husband finished his juice Hakan also offers him a refill for free. We really enjoyed our dinner their and if we will visit Istanbul again we will for sure visit Olive anatolian restaurant again.

Wonderful views to enjoy whilst eating a nice range of food to choose from. Staff always helpful with a smile. You can also choose to eat under the stars as the roof rolls back in the back area, which can be used to have a drink, write letters, or just eat. Breakfast is also served in this area so versatile and also air conditioned. English was not a problem with any staff we spoke to. Very enjoyable stay at a lovely hotel.

We decided to eat at the Olive restaurant because my friend enjoyed her last visit and recommended we try it again.
The view from the rooftop pavilion is lovely and we were glad for the working ac in this heat. The waiters were very attentive and all spoke English. Hakam was very pleasant and helpful.
The food was delicious. We had the meze plate appetizer and four different entrees. All of us left empty plates. Delicious lamb, fish and chicken dishes. The prices were what you would expect for a nice hotel meal in Istanbul.
I would definitely recommend a visit here.

This was a fabulous experience and wonderful food. Hakam did a great job serving us!! We enjoyed all the food, service and scenery in a cool place on the top floor over looking the Golden Horn.

Definitely on my repeat list.

On top of the Yasmak Sultan hotel is restaurant Olive, where they serve very good Turkish food. They have the obvious kebabs but also more special dishes like shrimps in pomegranate sauce. The presentation is attractive, the service excellent and they serve very good Turkish coffee with a Turkish delight and an explanation how to drink it. If you want a view over the Bosperus make sure you book a table, it's a popular restaurant.
