Very expensive, yes this is well known. Just under the second bridge with a great view. But that's all I think. The service and the food is no special. I haven't tried but heard that you can also have brunch in weekends.

What a lovely evening we had last night. Sat at Lacivert, right on the water's edge, watching the sun go down in the West. The boat across the Bosph. the lovely cocktails, the delicious food and the lovely staff. I truly memorable (for the right reasons!) evening had with my husband and best friend. One of the best meals.... EVER!

This year I have been to the Lacivert on three occasion, which is one of the hidden pleasures of Istanbul.it is situated in the Asian side of bosphorus, just by the sea. The restaurant has its own boat service from Rumeli Hisari. The food, service and the experience of eating at Lacivert are impressive but it can be crowded at some certain days, particularly at weekends.

Traditional Anatolian as well as examples of fusion cooking are served. Seafood menu and mezes are quite good.

Lacivert is somewhat expensive by Turkish Standarts but is reasonably priced in comparison with London or Berlin. A dinner of three course may cost 50 Eur or more. I have tested different local wines, which were good.

The place is not the cheapest in the city, but it definitely worth it. You need a car or taxi to reach a place. As even better option, Lacivert boat can pick guests from the opposite site of Bosphorus. The place is just below the bridge, so the view is amazing. For warm weather there are table close to water and it's creates very relaxing atmosphere. The food is nice and the chief is trying to keep it very special by adding his creative touch.
