“Great place. Not good for children though!”
Reviewed December 23, 2011

This is a wonderful coffee house. Quality coffee at affordable prices. I went there twice, once with friends and the other with my partner and our 2 years old. The coffee was great both times, although I recommend going early before their fresh cakes and delicious pastries are sold out!
However, the place is not at all equipped for children. They didn't have a highchair and my son was not comfortable. A great experience and I would definitely go back again and again, but don't go with children!

“Best Coffee, best service I ever saw”
Reviewed November 7, 2011

Before visiting Turkey I did my research and found a coffee shop named Kahve Dunyasi (meaning Coffee World). I heard it before from a couple of friends who went to Turkey before but I never tought it will be that great. Arriving to Istanbul, the second day I went to one of them (yes I also didn't know they have more than 80 shops!!) and IT WAS AMAZING. When you go there you expect a regular coffee shop like the Turkish version of Starbucks or something like that but NO! Kahve Dunyasi was way better and different than all the other coffee shops. First of all you have people actually bringin your coffee, sandwich, cake slice or whatever delicious thing you got. Secondly the prices are very low. Which after researching I figured out that the main objective is to maintain the prices low and still give the best service possible (with best coffee, delicious food, bose speakers, granite floors etc...) If I have to resume: DEFINATELY RECOMMENDED!

“Best hot chocolate ever!”
Reviewed April 9, 2009

A cold afternoon warmed wonderfully by the best ever hot chocolate properly made. Served with a chocolate spoon which dissolved upon stirring it in the liquid. The chill breeze was coming in of the Bhosphorus, I did not want to eat but felt a hot chocolate drink would be nice. Saw the tiny coffee shop just outside the Spice Bazaar which had a few tables by the pavement. This lusciously thick dark drink arrived in a tall cup trailing a wonderful aroma and was made thicker still by dissolving an extra amount of dark chocolate. Later I found out it is made from a chunk hoicked off a block of dark chocolate dissolved slowly in milk. Is there any other way?
Next day I went to another branch of Kahve Dunyasi just to repeat the experience!
This was worth going to Istanbul for its own sake.
And their Turkish Delight with nuts covered in dark chocolate!! Just heaven.
