Room was average size, reasonably clean. Front room on first floor in a 6-lane city road made it noisy with windows open. I specifically requested a non-smoking room with decent WIFI connection, and that's what I got. Hotel was being refurbished and showed it. The buffet breakfast was copious and with reasonable variety. The staff was pleasant and helpful, but knew only Turkish and a smattering of English (as usual in most of Turkey). Smoking was permitted in the lobby, which was horrible for me. The location was very convenient, being a five minute walk from my business location, which compensated for the shortcomings. I didn't even realise there was a pool. The price was a steal, altogether good value for money, but not a hotel I would choose for fun.

Room Tip: I think that a back room on a higher floor would be better for sleeping.

i think the most important thing about a hotel is its cleanness... and thanks god that our room was clean, and every day we had room service. the man in reception was rough and communicating with him was very hard (unfortunately he just knew turkish!). breakfasts was not bad. dining room was always noisy but some of staffs there were kind and helpful. in the bathroom there was a shower that we had problem with it. it was so strange! . but we loved its location... it was far from the center and taqsim square but fortunately near tram station and one of the best transports in istanbul is tram which u can go every where you want. totally i liked its place...

This is our first night in Turkey following a group tour and what a nightmare it was to stay in this hotel after a 10+ hours flight. The room looked tired and worn. Decor and furnitures are aging and in need of a change. Our room faces the main road which is rather noisy. We did not have a good night's sleep as the mattress is uncomfortable and the blankets provided were rather small. The bathroom is in a rather disastrous state too. The water tap and shower systems are rusting and the shower system is one which requires much fiddling around to understand how to operate. Warning! Do not stay here!
