We had a wonderful Sunday lunch and felt in love with its food and atmosphere. the food is delicious with fresh, local ingredients and home traditional receipies.
I loved the stuffed onions and the dolmades!! the salad bar had a variety of green salads and other meditteranean tastes.
the kebap wqs the best I had in the city and everything was amazingly tasty...can't wait to go back!!

“Another world of wonders”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

How shall i start? More than 10 years ago, there was a small restaurant with southeastern Turkish/Arabic cuisine on the back streets of Kadikoy Carsi. After all these years all those magnificient food and all of us enjoying their lunch/dinners have made the place more than a diner. A must go, must see, must eat place on the Anatolian side of İstanbul: çiya!

“Superb local food worth the trip to the Asian side”

We love ciya. We recommend getting a big plate of salads and then a selection of half portions of everything else. Good quality hot food, lots of yummy vegetarian options too. The staff speaks English and can help you to pick a selection of dishes suited to your palate.

“old tasty recipies”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

A very good placed restaurant with polite and helpful waiters, many unknown and good cooked and tasted plates that gives you the aroma of Turkish food. You can try many plates by asking "az" portions . In the end you have the opportunity to taste sweets from the "bufe" as they explain one by one to the customers. Also you can order some kebaps from the catalogue of the other two restaurants that they have nearby.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Very good restaurant at the Kadikoy market. We enjoyed the authentic Turkish cuisine, especially the stuffed onion and the lamb dishes, which were great. The service was good, and on he second floor we were detached from the market and had a quiet enjoyable meal.
Very recommended!
