The restaurant is located across the street from our hotel (Basileus). It was a cool evening and most customers opted to dine indoors.
The waitstaff was efficient. The restaurant was not busy at the time (Saturday at 7 pm) so service was very quick.
After placing our order, another waiter presented us with a tray of the night's mezes/appetizers. We chose the cucumber yogurt dip and cold stuffed grape leaves. The puffy balloon bread is included with the mezes (we noticed that patrons who did not order appetizers did not get bread). The bread would have been better if it was warmed up first.
We ordered the Sogurtme which was a spicy sautéed eggplant dish with ground lamb and the house special chicken kebab with white meat. Both were very tasty.
Prices were reasonable but not inexpensive. We paid 48 TL which included a Coke and apple tea (before tips).
