“Four Seasons service and experience at 1/4 of the price!! Absolutely Wonderful Hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2009

I stayed at this hotel after reading the good reviews on TripAdvisor and must say that Mr. Imbrahim Billik and his Staff definately over delivered! This hotel is located in the old town Sultanahmet and is 5minutes walking from Blue Mosque and Sofia Mosque, and there is so much to do just walking around and experiencing the history of the old town.
When you stay at a 5 star hotel, you pay for plush accomodation and location, but most importantly, its the personailzed service and attention that usually differentiates such hotels from the rest. Apex Hotel far exceeds the level of service, attention, and care than I have recieved at 90% of 5 star hotels i have stayed at, I cannot reiterate how accomodating and willing the staff are to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible! An example, I witnessed a guest that had damaged luggage, so the staff went out and bought, using their own money, luggage that the guest wanted because the guest did not want to interrupt their trip with the hassle!
Mr. Ibrahim helped with choosing restaruants, providing the HOTEL CAR! for transportation to the city, helping my buy tickets to a football match, storage and care of my personal belongings, as well as helping me solve my problems with the airport shuttle service!
You will find many options for hotels in Istanbul, Even in and around Apex hotel, some are more modern, may have better renovations, or decor, but the reality is Apex has beautiful sea views, a nice breakfast, pleasant rooms, and amazing location. All the aforementioned are comparable to other hotels, apart from the fact that you will not recieve such service at such a fair price ANYWHERE! and i know this from experience of staying at others!
I highly highly recommend this hotel for anyone that is truly looking for a pleasant and affordable stay, Apex Hotel is the place! A professional manager and staff for a wonderful hotel.

Ibrahim and his team were great from the moment we entered the hotel. They make you feel at home and cater to any need or request that you have. They helped recommend many of the restaurants and bars we went to and we were pleased with all of them. They really are a genuine group of people that want to help. The hotel is very comfortable and has a lot of charm. It's in a excellent location with a 5 minute walk to all the top sights. Apex is more than worth the money and I'd recommend them to everyone. If I go back, I already know where I am staying.

We loved the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We loved having the delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace with views of the Blue Mosque and the Marmaran Sea. Location was perfect for seeing the main sights and the street was very quaint. Our kids felt most welcome, too. Rooms were on the small side but very clean with comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

A perfect location within minutes walking distance of the Blue Mosque and the historical centre of Istanbul. The hotel is in a very quiet cobblestoned road that fortunately misses out on traffic and crowds. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They kept a low profile; always on hand to help if needed but without imposing themselves. The rooms were clean and comfortable with amazing character. We felt at ease throughout our stay; it provided a base for a very relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable stay.

M wife and I stayed at the Apex hotel this month for 7 nights. It is an absolutely fantastic hotel, with everything you could possibly need. Great location on a lovely little street, clean rooms (which are full of character) and a roof terrace for eating breakfast on.

The staff are friendly and helpful and so welcoming. I really couldn't reccommend this hotel any more highly.

Brilliant.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Apex Hotel, we have just returned from our European holiday and I can honestly say the hotel Manager and staff are a credit to the hotel and we did not receive the same level of service on any of our hotel destinations in Europe. The room was very clean and a very good size ( we were 3 travellers ). The noise level was very minimal and the bathroom was a good size as well. The hotel is in close proximity to all the major tourist attractions and we were able to walk almost anywhere and still be only about 15 minutes from the hotel. The ocean could be seen from the hotel's balcony where breakfast was served. ( breakfast could be improved upon ) I would recommend this hotel highly for its cleanliness, friendliness and courtesy of the staff however my best comments would be for for the Manager Ibrahim Billik what a wonderful gentleman ,he helped us in so many ways offered us cool drinks on our return from markets, advised how to get to tourist places etc. Did some interpreting for us, he was in a nutshell a great Manager. We really enjoyed our stay at the Apex and we will not consider staying anywhere else should we decide to visit Istanbul again.

This hotel boutique is really very good! Ok...the furniture wants to seem elegant and it's really old-fashioned, not according with the status of the hotel....but it's even funny. But the best of all, with no doubt, is the service; the people working there really wants you to be well and confortable: we arrived at 6 a.m. Our room was not ready, but they gave us another one, so we could had a shower and rest for a while...until the breakfast: they gave us breafkast buffet...for free!!! At 9:30 we could enter to our room, very spacious and with the typical carpets in the turkish hotels.

The hotel is very well situtated, in a calm street, in a beautiful neighbourhood full of wooden houses and only 2 minuts walking to SultanAhmet Mosquee (the "blue one").

Breakfast is very good also, as you are in a terrace with a great views.

So...hotel 100% recomendable, due its situation and, over all, thanks to the staff.
