Due to one reason and another, Nat and I had to stay in Istanbul for 18 days and we stayed in 3 different hostels. Tulip is by far the best hostel we have found. The service and staff is great, the breakfast is one of the best offered in town. Metin (the owner) also made sure that people don't make too much noise after 11:30pm for early risers. We met a lot fun people and Enes (hostel staff) even took some of us out for nargileh (waterpipe) one night and it was a wonderful local experience. I would recommend anyone who wants to stay in Sultanahmet area to book with Tulip!
