The hotel was first rate - the staff were excellent, particularly the lovely Dilhan Tatlisu the Guest Relation Attendant who was extremely helpful. There was none of the prententious nonsense you often get with 5 star hotels -indeed the whole experience was charming. The location is near perfect as it is within easy walking distance of all the major attractions. Although it is down a side street it is very safe & quiet - close by are an abundance of restaurants such as Home Made which we can thoroughly recommend.
We stayed for 3 nights which was just long enough & flew with Easy Jet which was surprisingly good. Big tip - take the public transport ferry from Eminonu it is dirt cheap! For a 2 hour trip it cost approx £5 for both of us - take it after 10 30am when it is a slack time. What an amazing city - the sites are incredible!

I shared a wonderful long weekend at the Sirkeci Konak Hotel with my three children. The point of our trip was to celebrate a 21st Birthday as well as visit the beatiful city of Istanbul.
Each and every person at the Sirkeci Konak Hotel went beyond their call of duty to make our stay something to remember always. From the the Bell Boy to the staff at the Hamam one could not fault. We sampled everything the Sirkeci Konak had to offer during our stay and not once was something amiss. I found the Hotel after many days of serching on the internet and once found I handled everything online. Their staff are impeccable online as well as in person. Do not miss the little gem in Istanbul!!!

I was about to book the Radisson Bosphorous when i came across the reviews about Sirkeci Konak on trip advisor and boy am I glad i did. The hotel was perfect. It is conveniently located within walking distance of many of istanbul's main attractions. The hotel is impicabilly clean (and i am quite a picky person). The staff was super friendly and accomodating. I travelled with my husband 2 1/2 year old daughter and when we arrived we were greeted by the guest relations who handed my daughter a kitten puppet and introduced us to the hotel and the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet (which came with the room) was excellent. The room was spacious and the amenities were top quality. The hotel had a number of offers including an 11% discount for paying in cash, a free airport transfer for 3 nights stay, and a free dinner on the first night for a 3 night stay. Even better all the rooms offer free Wifi. Istanbul is a beautiful city and the stay at this hotel was the cherry on top. It will definitely be my place of choice when i visit Istanbul again.

Upon arrival we were asked for our passports and then directed to a seating area with complimentary Turkish tea and snacks whilst we were checked in. Then the concierge took as much time as we needed to give us a quick rundown of all the hotel’s facilities, important sites to see and answer all the questions we had regarding Istanbul. Our room was clean and fairly large, with an enormous comfortable bed, flat screen tv, safe, sofa and everything else you’d expect to find.

The hotel is located within walking distance to many of the main historical attractions on the European side such as Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque, along with numerous restaurants, the grand bazaar and the waterfront.

I’d certainly recommend this hotel to others.
