“Tripadvisor reviews are real!”

We stayed 6 nights at this lovely hotel. Room was on the 3rd floor on the street side. We found it to be a very restful and quiet hotel. The air conditioning system worked perfectly for adjusting our comfort at will. Breakfast was included with our stay, as well as airport pickup.
The indoor pool is nice and clean, the sauna and hamman are also very nice and clean. The hotel will provide you with a pestale, a wrap to cover your modest areas to wear while in the sauna or hamman.
The location is very convenient to walk to the historic sights, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Cistern, etc. It also has a tram stop just a block away.
Pelin was quite helpful and has a very warm personality.
We were very pleased to find the reviews to be accurate.
The Bosphorus boat trip is a must do.
There are lots of good restaurants convenient to the hotel.
Prices at the Grand Bazaar are high and the hawking of vendors and guides through out Istanbul is a pain, how many times in a day can you tolerate saying "no".
The staff is helpful in every way, this includes the desk, bell, restaurant and housekeeping personnel.
The hamman is a great jewel to find in this type of boutique hotel. The sauna and hamman are co-ed.

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel for a week (from 2nd of May to 8th of may) At first glance from outside it didnt look very impressive, but as we walked inside we were so amazed by beautifully and tastefully decorated reception area. Staff was really helpfull. They all speak English, so we did not have any problems communicating (though my husband is turkish and Turkish is his first language, we spoke mainly in English, so I could understand too :-)) . We were offered tea while waiting in a cosy lounge area to be cheked in. The whole athmosphere there was so calming and relaxig, just what you need after a long jurney. Our room wasn't big, but the bed was huge and really really comfortable. There is a variety of pillows to choose from on request too. There are tea/coffe making facilities, Tv with the channels from different countries, quite small wardrobe, but enough for a short stay. Bathroom is well decorated and with provision of toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, towels. There were even some complimentary turkish delights on the bed, which was very nice. The one thing that made it a bit uncomfortable was a light switch right behind the pillow at the back of the bed, so almost every time my husband was turning or moving the light was going on or off. But even that did not spoiled our stay there.
hotel has a nice restaurant on the ground floor. We dined there few times. Food is very tasty and not too expensive. Breakfast is from 7 to 11 and on offer there are delicious foods.. I recommend to try all types of small breads, as they are extremely tasty. I certantly recommend to stay in this fantastic hotel to everyone.

Yes the rooms are small, yes the bed is very small but this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.
My room was nicely decorated very cozy and very clean
The staff is AMAZING and VERY helpful they will do their best to make your stay unforgettable
The breakfast is nice and the fish restaurant of the hotel is very good.
The internet if for free and fast
The location is excellent for tourists because the old city is only 2 minutes away the tram line is 50 meters away and less than ten minutes walk to the golden horn and the Bosporus ferries stop but the location is not excellent for business travelers

From the moment we arrived the staff were warm and friendly, efficient and most helpful on every aspect of our stay. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, everything worked well and any requests promptly dealt with.
The restaurants were excellent - I had some of the best lamb I have ever tasted and offered varied menus. Breakfasts were well stocked(although I would have liked the option of a variety of cooked eggs) and kept us going until coming back for the complimentary afternoon tea, which was a welcome and refreshing touch before going out for the evening.
Very conveniently located, made it very easy getting around but it was still peaceful and relaxing place to return to.
Being able to have our Turkish Bath in the hotel before we came home was so relaxing and great fun, setting us up for our return.

We had a very enjoyable time. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to meet our every need. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a choice of pillows to ensure a good night's sleep. It is very central and within walking distance of all the main sites in the old city. It is close to the tram line and railway station. Taxis had difficulty finding it owing to one way systems and roads blocked off without any warning.
We enjoyed the Turkish bath after a long day sight seeing and the cooking demonstration given by the chefs one evening in his immaculate kitchen.

We stayed for 4 nights in April, all the staff were fantastic -everyone made an effort to make our stay more enjoyable - with lots of help & advice.
The hotel is in a side street away from all the hustle, but 5 mins walk away from all the major sights, our room overlooked the park with its wonderful flower display.
The hotel's complimentary afternoon Tea was very welcome after a day sightseeing,we ate 1 night in the hotels restaurant (traditional Turkish food),the lamb was delicious. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of variety and choices - very good
Our only dissapointment was the swimming pool - its in the 'dark' basement and small
The hotel room was small but comfortable with a small 'Juliet' balcony, the roof terrace had great views.
There are lots of restaurants/cafes nearby ... some are very much looking for tourist's rather than locals!
Also if you do want to buy a rug.... there are plenty of people who will help !!!!

We chose this hotel on the strength of its status on Trip Advisor and could not have made a better choice. The location is perfect for the sights of the old city and the hotel is only 2 minutes from the main tram line. It is less than ten minutes walk to the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus ferries. The rooms and the food are excellent, but it is the staff that really make this hotel special. You really felt part of a family. When we arrived, the receptionist gave us maps and sightseeing advice as part of the welcome.

Having checked the usual hotel websites, we found that by booking direct on the hotel website we got the same price plus an 11% discount for paying cash on arrival and as we were staying for more than two nights we also got a free transfer from the airport to the hotel and a free a la carte dinner on the first night. The presentation and the quality of the food could not be faulted and the prices in the restaurant seemed about a quarter less than in the tourist restaurants nearby.

Everything else wonderful about this hotel has been said in the other reviews. Thanks to all the staff - we will certainly be back.
