A great location for a walking tour of Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. This place is a few minutes from the mosques and about 20 minutes walk to the Grand Bazar, you could easily walk to the Galata bridge from here too.

Wonderful location (although it is a little bit difficult to find, even with a map). You will find there truly friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean hotel and very good breakfast. The internet connection could be a little bit faster.

An okay hotel in a nice location in the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul. All the main attractions including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace are located within walking distance. It was pretty clean and tidy, although the whole hotel could use a renovation. Breakfast on the top terrace was great and the view is amazing. The owner, Enis, was very helpful.

This is a nice hotel, when you can find it! I had a real hard time finding the hotel. It is real close to Blue Mosque, but that won't help you. Winding streets--check out your maps to get there. BUT, once you are there it is a real nice budget hotel. Clean rooms, nice breakfast on top terrace. Friendly staff. I travelled solo Greece and Turkey for a month, and this was the best place I stayed. Istanbul is pricier than other cities in Turkey (of course!), but this is a good stay!

The three staff people who are there 24/7 are just fantastic. We had a very inexpensive room on lower floor that was very small with just a wash area and not really a shower by Western standards. That plus noise in the backyard from dogs are the only reason this was not 5 stars. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful - only place in Turkey where we had borek along with the other usual Turkish breakfast foods. For those with difficulties with stairs, caution - one has to go up 4 flights of winding stairs to get breakfast. Nice that there was a computer available in the lobby as well.

Great location. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. From the terrace, where you can have your breakfast, there is an amazing view of the Bosphorus. Clean room. Air con and hair dryer available. Small room but spacious shower.
The hotel could be much better with little refurbishment. But for the money you pay is great value. There is the blue mosque near by, so at 5 am you will be awake for a bit. Chipped cups for breakfast.

we stayed here for 5 nights. the hotel is on a calm street just a short walk from aya sofia. the room was clean and the bathroom had a good shower. first there was a problem with the shower at first but it was fixed immediately when we reported it. there is a nice roof terrace where you can eat breakfast. room cleaning was excellent, breakfast was good, better than in hotel california (istanbul). the staff was very helpful and friendly. the only downside with this hotel is that there is a minaret nearby which can wake you up at 5 am with the prayer call. also the area is a bit touristy but overall i was very satisfied with the stay.

Room Tip: we noticed two rooms on the first floor, don't know but perhaps they aren't as quiet as the...
