Great location, tram stop right outside. Burhan has a smile for you at any time of the day and the staff are all very helpful. The cleaning lady is very sweet and kept our room spotless. Breakfast is basic buffet with tea, coffee and fruit juices, choice of many jams or honey with fresh bread or toast, mixed processed meats and cheese and sometimes scrambled eggs etc., Rooms are basic but overall value for money. Will return.

The hotel is very well located in the old Istanbul area. The management, Burhan and Yusuf, were very helpful and happy to give advice. All of the staff were friendly. They offer a great value and are working hard to make the hotel even nicer.

The Hotel clean, well managed. The staff very polite, helpful, and friendly. The reception -personified Mr. Burhan and his colleagues- are professional stuff and provided a real home atmosphere for the guests during staying in Istanbul.
The management aligned with the tourist season on the room rates.
The hotel locates in the historical, cultural center of Istanbul. Everything is available on walk: sightseeing, restaurants, shops, bathes, transport means. The hotel can be reached by tram and train from the international airport within 35-45 minutes. The atmosphere of the district is a real experience.
The hotel, the service, the staff, and the location of the hotel would deserve No. 6 overall rating (unfortunately the max is No.5)! I would like to recommend to visitors this Hotel!

The location is perfect, across from the Topkapi Palace and 2 blocks from the entrance to the Archeological Museum. The hotel is older and not elaborate, but safe, clean and has a wonderful staff, especially Yusuf, who is a very nice person and was willing to answer all our questions. We couldn't have been happier.

Had a great 7 night stay at Hotel Adora in Istanbul in late Oct. 2013 . Great value and service for a Hotel in such a prime part of Istanbul within easy walking distance of some of the historic sites, great restaurants and just 3mins walk to the tram.

Burhan was extremely helpful as were his obliging staff - even stored our main luggewhile we visited Cappadocia - would certainly recommend Adora.

The USP of this hotel is its location. It stands right in the middle of major monuments n places of tourist interest.Surrounded by dozens of restaurants, shops, market places,it feels very convenient to stay at this place. The tram station is just at the back of the property.Rooms are small n basic. But comfortable.
Another strong feature is the staff.Very friendly, helpful n polite staff.Front office manager Mr.Burhan and all the other staff members are very well-behaved n ready to help.Breakfast is good with a wide variety to select from.
Downside:
The hotel has no power back-up.In case of electricity/power failure, it is bit of a problem to stay in a candlelit room especially if one has young children. The hotel management MUST set this right.
In all other terms, its a good hotel.
Would surely recommend.

I've stayed for short period, ie, 3 days, on may way to Europe, Istanbul is magnificent city, this hotel is small family run hotel, located in quite/small street & best place @ Sultanahmet area, warm welcome at check in, very close to visit historical places, few meters to Tram station where can connect to most attractive areas, small room sizes but it's OK for hotel, Breakfast is small but OK and with more choices will be much better, Friendly staff & special thanks to Mr. Burhan - excellent quality & best assistance, Thanks to gift "Turkish Delight" at check out, it's nice gift from hotel management, strongly recommend this hotel for staying again

Room Tip: Rooms on street view are nice.
