very good location, good size of rooms and very clean. Good breakfast and at the reception they are always ready to answer your questions.
You have tram (5 min walk), metro and taxis. Very quite rooms.
We definetly recommend it

Room Tip: Our room was on last floor on the backside. No noise from the street and the size of the room was go...

Location is excellent, Taksim is one of the most interesting squares of Istanbul. Situated at the end of shopping street, good connected to other part of Istanbul. We head suite, family of three, with all basic comfort. Room was pretty clean. Generally good impression was spoiled with charging a peanuts from mini bar which was open when we entered a room, but didn’t reported. I am not sure if It was a fraud or just mistake. Breakfast is good, wit some local food.

This is a fairly basic hotel; the rooms arent that big and the ameneties are limited, but it is clean, well maintained, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. Not too expensive, I guess size / quality is reflected in the price and after all it is a city centre hotel in a capital city and you get what you pay for.

The location is excellent; right on Taksim Square. this isnt the main tourist location, but it is central to the city. Getting around on public transport is very easy and efficient. Arguably Sultanhammet is a better location, because it is the centre of most of what you would like to see, but Taksim is pretty good also. Very cosmopolitain, I got the impression that this was the trendy part of town with plenty of bars and restaurants.

I can definately recommend both the hotel and the location

Room Tip: No irons provided. You have to use the laundry service or take a travel iron. Check the mini-bar on...

Hotel is clean, twin room size is reasonable, bathroom small. Coffee and tea sachets are NOT free, kettle is available though. Very small safe box. There are 2 types of TVs, one that sits on a desk and a hanging one.
Easy access to Metro and Bus, stations are across the street. Tramway is like 10 minutes’ walk. Istiklal Street is also 2 Minutes’ walk. Staff, 2 male & 1 female Receptionists shifts, the dark guy is the nice one, the female is friendly.

There are the good connections through the all kind of the public transport (funicular, tramway, metro, bus, airport shutle bus). Rooms are clean, but furniture is pretty old and need renovation. Service is from average to good depends on staff person. Breakfast is various but not responds to the "european taste" - a lot of sweet bakery products, there was not procesed meet, scrambled eggs had a strange taste, cheese and salads were excellent. Heating was noisy during the night, bathroom ventilation also was noisy, the internet connection was excellent and free of charge.

I have booked room in Taksim metropark hotel for my recent stay after reading the reviews at tripadvisor. My choice was correct as the room were clean, comfortable and had a very good view of Bosphorus from room. Although I have to wait for some time to get the room with a bosphorus view because rooms are limited. Breakfast is also good, included in price and not same every day. Hotel staff is courteous, good and helpful. Metro station & bus station is nearby and many options for food with different choices are available outside the hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms with Bosphorus view are quieter and preferable to choose. But all rooms in hotel are good for...

Great hotel for a short stay in Istanbul. It's a classic city center hotel. Just 10 metres from Taksim square. Metro and Tunel a breath away. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and not the same every day. The staff is polite and helpful. If you can book it at a good price (as we did), don't think any more. Book it and you will have an easy and nice stay.
Tip: You can take the funikular from the Taksim metro station to Cabatas and then the T1 tram to all the main attractions. But it cost 2 TL every trip . So if you are 4 persons, it is more efficient to catch a taxi.
