This hotel is vastly overpriced for what it delivers. Rooms are fine but very expensive. The cheaper rooms (still over 1,000 Euros a night) are on the front of the building and at night the road is busy and sirens create a lot of noise. The staff are the best asset of the hotel as they are friendly and very willing to help. Location would be okay if you are a frequent visitor to Istanbul but awful if you want to visit any of the main tourist attractions as it is a VERY long journey through gridlocked traffic to reach any of them. Also they seem to have a lot of private parties and this takes up all of the already limited amenities (food outlets, lounge areas, etc) space. The restaurant for example can be closed to hotel guests without prior notice. I don't think it is a bad hotel but people who want to visit most of the places of interest would be better off staying on the other side of the river.
