The Hotel has a very nice location between Sokollu mosk and old holy Sophia, between Bosphorus and blue mosk. All the employees are very nice and helpful and try to help you by all means.
I warmly recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Istembul especially for tourism.

This is a nice and quiet Hotel just minutes away from Sultanahmet main points of intetest. Near Sultanahmet square whete the tram station is and not far from Fatih area if you want to explore more.
Most of all what made my stay nice was the staff so friendly and helpful to any special need and a plus the 24 h snack and drink area in the beautiful garden area available for free with free wifi too.
The staff can arrange any touristic trip you can think upon request.

Spent one week with the whole family. Garden house hotel was able to accommodate us with our request to have the rooms next to each other. Super friendly service, even prepared breakfast for us at 530 AM when we were leaving for the airport. Rooms were cozy and clean. The location of hotel was excellent as it was approx. 5 mins by walking to major attraction locations. Hotel was also close to the Tram if you wanted to use that mode of transportation.
Selcuk Topcu, the guest relations manager, is truely awesome in what he does. He was able to provide us with the best price for tours, where to eat, money exchange locations, maps, you name it. Truely had a wonderful time there and highly recommend garden house hotel to anyone.

Excellent location, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. Great place for a family or romantic holidays.
What I liked most is design of the rooms: authentique oriental style with good taste.
Staff was always willing to help.

My wife and I stayed for three nights at Istanbul's Garden House Hotel. The location of the hotel was great, just five minutes from Hippotdrome and tbe Blue Mosque, 10-12 minutes from Grand Bazaar. It was also close to the Sultanahmet tram station (7 min), which we used to get to Dolmbahche palace (Kabatas station). The room was nice and comfortable, the services were great. The breakfast included many local delicacies and I specially loved the evening coffee arrangement. The hotel staff was very helpful and gave us good advice to get around, eat and shop. I recommend it to anyone.
Thanks.

Fabulous and amazing it is not. Very nice it is. Quiet. Relaxed. Good location -- very walkable to all the sights and the tram. Bed is pretty iron frame and thinnish, hard mattress (i.e., not that comfortable), duvet blanket was perfect weight, pillows and linens were good (cotton). Compact (I think that's a synonym for cozy? smallish?) The room had a damp, bathroom smell which is why I opened the window and why I travel with incense. After that, with bathroom door closed, it was fine. Breakfast buffet is a great value: Lentil soup, breads, borekas, cheeses, middle-eastern salads (hummus), omelet, sausages (which looked unappetizing), olives, vegetables (cucumber and tomato), stuffed grape leaves, cereal (one kind) with dried fruits and nuts, coffee, tea, yogurt, juice… It's pretty much the same every day. Coffee and tea and cookies available 24/7 in lounge. Couple things to know: this is contiguous with Rose Garden Suites (across interior courtyard), share same restaurant. And prices for room fluctuate wildly depending on demand. I booked the room in advance for $78 / night. When I wanted to extend the stay, the rate was well over $200 / night. For $78, excellent value. For $200, not so much. Staff? They were not over the top solicitous, but knowledgeable and willing to help when asked, which is how I like it -- if you're more friendly, maybe they are too! :-)

Room Tip: Room 104 (probably all 4s?) is bigger than the other rooms on the hall, with tables on either side o...
