Everyone at the hotel especially the staff were very friendly and very helpful with share of loads of information and advice. The rooms were true to their description, very nicely decorated. all the amenities ( including slippers and robe ) . comfortable bed in good size. free Wifi which worked very well. nice size bathroom. Location is good. you're about 20 minutes from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the main sites. Has a lovely rooftop restaurant overlooking the sea, Good choice hotel for Istanbul.

We have just returned from a wonderful experience in Istanbul, and stayed at the Ottoman Hotel Park, Sultanahmet. My husband and I with our adult children, seven of us together with
partners, were all happy with the lovely clean rooms, friendly staff, who could not do enough to accommodate and assist us wherever we wanted to go. The breakfast was good, sufficient
selection, the lunch and dinners on the roof top restaurant was amazing. Delicious and well
presented food. The Manager was so charming, gave us complimentary desserts, discounts on our meals, plus we had a beautiful view of the city.
Gonul, at reception was always happy and ready to help us, Ibrahim, Anil and Serhat, thank you for all your assistance as well.

We spent two nights at the hotel on route to Croatia. However, we could not travel with all the items we had purchased at the markets, which would have resulted in us having been over weight. Gonul was very kind to store these items for us till our return. This was a great help. So returning to the Hotel, was like coming home, everyone was so happy to see us again, and we
were happy to see their happy faces.

We will certainly return to the Ottoman Hotel Park, on our next visit to Istanbul, and we will
recommend this hotel to any one travelling to Istanbul for the first time.

Very nice and particularly friendly and helpful hotel in interesting location with easy access to main sites. Lovely roof top restaurant but make sure not to get one of the four very small rooms. Don't need to say more.

Room Tip: Insist on full sized room.

There was nothing the staff would not do for us and the restaurant on top of the building is highly recommendable - the food is beautifully presented and is of gourmet quality. Breakfast was good and plentyful. Rooms clean and large enough, the bathroom was lovely.Would definitely stay there again - the A/C worked beautifully and though the hotel is in the Mosque district the five calls daily of the Muezzin did not disturb our sleep with closed windows. We only had a short trip on our way back from a beach holiday so found this perfectly central to get all the sights in in 2 days.

The room is spacious and well decorated. The bathroom also had a large shower which was great :)

The breakfast had a bit of everything. The only downpoint was they start clearing it away well before they finish at 10.30 so make sure you get up there by 10!

The staff were helpful in telling us where to go on each day and giving us ideas.
They suggested the best restaurants were down to the right as you leave the hotel - that we can either eat by the pier or where the locals go - we advise to go where the locals go! By the water is very very expensive - the most expensive meal we've ever had and not particularly special.

Coming from the airport we took the train and the lrt - was no problem at all. 3TL per ride so 6TL each to get to the hotel and roll our bags down the hill from the LRT stop. The taxi ride on the way back to the airport was reasonable enough - i dont think you would need the private bus they try to offer you unless you have a big group.

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my Husbands 65th Birthday.
We were greeted by a lovely smiling Receptionist called Gonul and then introduced to Serhat the guest relations manager who spent time explaining the area and marking out nearby attractions on a map for us.
My husband was then presented with a delicious chocolate birthday cake that had been made specially for him.
The bedroom was classed as one of the basic rooms but was really comfortable, clean and had a beautiful ornate light above the bed. It also had tea and coffee making facilities which is a bonus after a long day sight seeing.
We ate a lovely dinner in the roof top restaurant on our 1st evening, the meal was reasonably priced and very well presented by friendly, well trained waiters.
Breakfast was really good, a nice choice of dishes but you must try the turkish bagels.
The area around the hotel is typical of a busy city/urban area (very safe though) but when you walk into the hotel its like being in a palace.
Excellent location for all the sights and local eateries.
Our only complaint would be we didnt stay long enough.
Well done everyone at the Ottoman Hotel Park, hope to return again and for longer.

From the moment we arrived the staff was very helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good. On the terrace you get a nice view of the sea and the top of the neighboring buildings. I was perplexed by the one next door with the collapsed roof, but apparent business in the lower level (don't worry, the old city is full of older buildings). The location is as good as you're going to get if you stay in the old city. Expect the call to prayer to be loud regardless of where you stay. For those that complained about walking up hill to get to things - would you rather walk up hill at the end of the day? There was a litter of kittens that greeted us every day when we left and returned!
