“One of a kind in Istanbul!”
Reviewed May 16, 2014

It is not always easy to find a location with interesting things for kids, good lunch and historical sites. Rahmi Koç Museum offers it all. Lovely collection of old cars, trains and submarine. Go thee by Golden Horn boat. Do not miss to visit Miniaturk nearby.

What a fantastic museum - particularly if you're travelling with children/teens and you want a break from cultural sights. Very clean, loads of exhibits ranging from the type of thing you would expect in a science museum to collections of cars, trains and planes - even a submarine. There are also some good places to eat.

“Excellent Museum near the Gold Horn”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

This is an important industrial Museum, but even the kids will enjoy this Museum. There are old vehicles suc has a tram, cars, train etc. It is just by the Golden Horn. You can also visit Miniaturk which is close and enjoy an excellent lunch or dinner in Halat Restaurant near-by. Must visit.

If you visit or are planning to visit Istanbul and looking for a good alternative day out of Old Peninsula, you should try the Rahmi Koc Museum along the Golden Horn for an unforgettable experience, both cultural and natural attractions...You can enjoy the cafe by the water after your visit...Highly recommended for all

“Great esp with kids”
Reviewed May 10, 2014 via mobile

Great event for a rainy day in Istanbul. Make sure to also visit the playroom for children with many great logical challenges. Besides there are great historic cars trains and airplanes. Don't forget to visit the historic submarine and the planetarium.
