“shisha and cay”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

spent many summer nights here drinking elma cay, sharing shisha and listening to mehmet play guitar. somewhat of a local place amidst the tourist overload of sultahamet. one of my favourite spots in turkey, it is open until 1am, dress appropriately to avoid being a tourist attraction yourself.

“the best waterpipe and atmosphere in the city”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

despite many fake waterpipe places around Istanbul, this place make you feel like you live in Ottoman times. waterpipe and Turkish coffee is great and I recommend you to taste also apple tea.

“Antique!”

Very nice setting to smoke some Turkish tobacco, or have some Turkish tea/coffee in an old setting. You get a real feel of the place.
