“A nice place to see if you're on the Asian side”

If you are living in Turkey and want a little taste of home, there are American and European shops, a Mexican restaurant, etc.

“Bagdat Street , Ask where to go from hotel staff before going there”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

This is a haven in istanbul , very luxury street with beautiful cafes , Restaurants and shops . but just one point to remember :
Bagdat street is a very very long street and the place where these attractions are is located at middle of it .
So ask a Turkish person to write the exact location of this street which has these attractions for you down in a paper to show to the taxi driver on the Asian Side of the istanbul .

P.S : You can use water ferries to go to the other side but remember to ask when does the last boat leaves to the europe side again . You certainly dont want to pay a lot of money for a long taxi ride from asian side to the european side .

“Like a city in a city!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

This long street seems like you walk into another city, or a small city in the heart of big one. A lot of Western clothes shops, many restaurants and coffee shops. A lot of people walking around, a very busy street but beautiful and clean. This part of the city is the modern one very different from the old city. Each part have its beauty and importance. We loved the time spend there and have few good memories. What which astonished me was a great, huge cat, and I was so surprised that I could not take any picture of it!!! But never saw such cat in my life. The cats are everywhere and they are loved by people. If you come to Istanbul go and visit that part of city, worth it! You will pass also on the great and beautiful bridge which connects the European with Asian part of Istanbul. Super view when you cross the bridge!!!
