“nice place to stay”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

İt is a nice place to stay at taksim area . İt was my second visit to here. The breakfast here is very nice here , the dining hall looks to golden horn , the breakfast has wide variety of foods, the waiters serve you fresh orange juice.

The only problem I observed about breakfast is the way that they serve boiled egg and turkish bacon at the same box. So the water condensate on boiled egg then it evoporate and condensate on turkish bacon. This not Hygienic practice as the surface of egg is not clean .

Room Tip: do not choose 8 floor as there is bar at 9 th floor.

This is a hotel that provides the extras mile (or is it extra smile?) for a stay in Istanbul. Excellent service, endless choices for breakfast with a view of the Bosphorus - reasonable priced in-room goodies - modern comfortable room with excellent shower - this hotel has most, if not all for the tourist or business traveler - including a free airport shuttle if your flight happens to coincide with an 8.30 am hotel departure. I kept on finding excuses to visit reception to have yet one more piece of turkish delight that is kept in a bowl on the desk. Oh yes - it's central too - less than 5 minutes from Taxim Square. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 5 days. At first had problems with the internet, but problem was solved right away by very friendly and efficient staff. Great breakfast. Nice beds. Cozy and clean room. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommended!

Room Tip: Even numbered rooms are very quiet. Odd numbered have better views but can be a bit noisier.

I was here on a 3 night business trip, in a group of about 28 people. There was a Business package, which included free wi-fi (excellent - no problems the whole time and immediate connection), an 8.30am free bus to the airport (I didn't use this), upgraded room with dressing gowns etc and included breakfast and lunch.

The conference room was adequate for the purpose and at coffee breaks there was always snacks of some description, including when we arrived each morning. This was good if you had chosen to have an extra 30 mins in bed instead of going for breakfast!

The room had a switch you could press if you did not want to be disturbed and this lit up a sign outside the room. I also found a button on the hanger in the wardrobe which lit it up. There was a wide screen TV, but only really BBC Entertainment and World News in English. There was a CD player/radio with a hotel CD, telephone, mini-bar, wind-up shutters at the window, which was useful if you were working at the desk & needed to keep the sun out in the morning. The bed was comfortable and there was a pillow menu if you are fussy about firmness.
Also great for us Brits was the tea and coffee making facilities. There was no milk but I am sure they would have given you some to keep in the mini-bar if you had asked. There was air conditioning which was useful, as even in February it was a bit humid.

The hairdryer in the bathroom was a 1200 watt, so far superior to the usual bathroom ones. The shower worked well and the towels were good quality & nice and white.

Breakfast and lunch was a buffet with great choices for both. We had dinner one evening and it was good, if not amazing, but as a group I don't think that is unusual. Service was impeccable & the staff were polite. As a group, we had our own reserved tables & everything ran smoothly. There are great views of the sea, but it is not the most picturesque view! There are loads of bars, hotels and restaurants within walking distance. There were always taxis outside the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there, but maybe if I was going for leisure, I might look for something more traditional.

Nice hotel but nothing special. Initially good first impressions let down by details such as poor quality sheets not quite large enough for the bed, request for different pillows taken away but new pillows didn't appear, very low pressure shower, terribly noisy at night both from the street below and from the

The food was also dreadful - restaurant meals very small and completely tasteless, and room service the same - very disappointing. Avoid the tea at all costs.

It had easy access to the main attractions around and the ambience of the hotel was very nice. It is very reasonabley priced as well. Wiould definetely recommend for families to stay.
