“Very beautiful, big and green”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

When I decided to pass the gate of the park I never thought about such a beautiful place. I went there in July, so everywhere was in its most beautiful shape. colorful and fresh.
There are some museums inside the park, also you can find some restaurants and cafe for resting and eating something.
The park is very big in compare with other parks in Istanbul like Gulhane. So you can walk inside the park for more than 2 hours without walking from one path twice.
So, if you have free time and you just want to have some fresh air here would be a good choice.

“Nice park bad signage”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

The park is very nice and big. Very well kept and with a nice variety of plants and flowers. Unfortunately the signage is very deficient. Nowhere was explained that you cannot access the museums from the park, or if you can it was not indicated. No English signs.

“Nice green spot in a big city”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

If you want to get out of the city madness go and pay a visit to this beautiful park. You can have a nice stroll here but bear in mind it's built on different hills. You can also visit the castle Yildiz.

“Green Seclusion”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

This is a nice park if you happen to be in the area and would like to take a quiet stroll or have a picnic. Our hotel was across the street and it was easy for us to visit. We spent about half an hour in the park then decided to leave because we were getting lost inside. We enjoyed Gulhane Park more. Please see my review of Gulhane Park for a comparison between the two. This does seem to be a favorite among couples though, perhaps because it's a bit secluded and offers more privacy. On the day we went, we saw three brides there getting their pictures taken with their grooms.

“Amazing hidden place”
Reviewed April 15, 2013 via mobile

We went to the park walking from Kabatas station (around 45 min walk) to the park entrance (you can take taxi or bus 25E), no entrance fees, just walk between the nature and the Tulips, you can see squirrels, cats, birds, dogs and other different kinds of animals. You can sit on one of the many public benches all over the park or go to the top and sit in the cafe/ restaurant with amazing view on the park and bosphorus.
There is a small lake up there with ducks. We spent two hours in the park and could stay more easily. There is also play grounds for children with slides and swings. This place is recommended for romantic dates, escaping from the city noises, family day out with children. We will definitely come back here someday.
