This charming hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes just outside the doors (although it was very quiet at night). It is a great location for exploring the Sultanhamet by foot and close enough for a nice stroll accross the Golden Horn to explore the Bosphorus. Erhan was very helpful and welcoming to all his guests and was very prompt in replying to any online request that I had before I arrived. They do offer transport to and from Attaturk for 20 euros (per trip, not per person). He spoke wonderful English and was very helpful in finding nearby places to eat. You cannot beat the views for breakfast! The only small thing about the hotel is that you can hear people in the hallway, but it does not last long. My next trip to Istanbul will be spent at the Hotel Peninsula!

- Welcome to the Hotel Peninsula in Istanbul. We are a small boutique hotel, nestled quietly at the end of leafy laneway. We are nestled amount this city’s great historical landmarks and you will instantly transport your mind heart upon arrival. When you go to buy your morning paper, you stroll past our 489 year old Turkish Hamam, tangled with vines and moss. This truly is an immersion into an oriental parallel, and we are pleased to be able to offer you warm, friendly accommodation during your journey here.
