Spent one night here on recommendation of my travel agent. Small room, clean, quiet. Very helpful front desk. The tram stop is just up the street and there's a nice coffee shop next door. The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to the major sites - Aya Sophia and Blue Mosque are a leisurely 10 minute walk.

Was actually booked in for the Best Western Amber hotel but that was a building site on arrival! This was the hotel that I had been reallocated to. Location is great as its very central. The room was adequate but air con was not working well but that got sorted. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable for a city centre location

It was our first time in Istanbul, our flight was 13 hours late and they held our reservation and waited up for us. Our room was spacious, clean, air conditioned. The bathroom had good water pressure and full size shower with hair dryer. I couldn't ask for a better location. Right in the center and walking distance to everything. The staff was really friendly and accomodating. The continental breakfast on the rooftop was awesome...one of th better breakfasts.
I don't have any complaints about this hotel. A very nice hotel with a fair price!

Room Tip: Our room faced the courtyard...I imagin it was quieter than the rooms facing the street.

Just back from using this hotel. It is a really nice hotel with lovely rooms and with air-con in the bedrooms. Rooms are not very big but ample space and very comfortable with a choice of pillows if you want. Great location right next to the Tramway and in the heart of the Historic District of Istanbul. They supplied a very good breakfast, with plenty to choose from, in their restaurant at the top of the hotel but their daytime restaurant (the Coffee House) was very disappointing. My grandson and I ordered fish and chips each, which was easy as we were eating late and they served the fish raw in the middle. They took it back but the result was we had an additional twenty minutes before we got our dinner. The restaurant also tried to overcharge us for water we had. Their prices were already a bit on the steep side as well. The hotel itself was lovely but they also tried to charge us 35 euros for an airport transfer which we got for 10 euros from a tour company 20 metres away from the hotel. When we were there we had a lovely meal in a very nice restaurant on the same street as the hotel called the Red River, it had excellent Turkish food and service and they did not try to overcharge us.

I would use the hotel again but not their restaurant and I will not be booking any transfers or tours at their reception as you can get better value elsewhere. However I would recommend the hotel accommodation.

Room Tip: As the hotel is on a busy Tranway street ask for a room on the upper floors as they are quieter, if...

The hotel is located within 500 meters of all the major highlights of istanbul.
The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.
We Will certainly visit again.

Hotel is located next the tramline which makes finding back the hotel easy when you don't know the city very well yet. Just follow the tramline.

We stayed there from July 4 to July 8. It was very convinient to get to all historical sights. The tram stop was close to the hotel and breakfast was adequate. People are very friendly and helpful. Lots of places to dine.

Room Tip: Try to get the room not facing the road.

Excellent location within walking distance to all the historical sights and tramline. Hotel has 35 rooms so the staff get to know you and are extremely helpful and so prompt with assistance. Staff knew English which also helped and took interest in what we were experiencing on our stay. The rooftop breakfasts were traditional for Turkey and were absolutely fabulous allowing us to use the roof top other than breakfast time. We were there a week and my sister and husband stayed the floor above. When we entered the hotel the first day the staff knew who we were and gave us personal messages from other family who had called. Rooms are nicely decorated and cleaned daily with fresh linens...I would stay here again in a heart beat.. Special thanks to Ibrahim who with his knowledge, sense of humor, and command of the language made many of our days even more fun! Wonderful ! Wonderful ! Wonderful !
