we decided to book a holiday to Istanbul. we have travelled to dubia many times and stopped in the emerald palace kempiniski .so we decided to book the cirigan kempiniski but after reading the reviews we booked Shangri la. what a great choice . absolutely amazing service ,hospitality, and location. no negatives whatsoever. my son has dairy and nut allergy ,the restaurant catered for his every needs . we dined three times a day including breakfast .the hotel is virtually on the bosphorus great views . A special mention has to go out to three staff members who made the stay extra extra special
1) Cagatay who worked in the restaurant. amazing guy .my 8 year old became his friend
2) Ufuk again worked in the restaurant. again amazing guy .very kid friendly and hospitable
3) gurkhan worked on the doors . very nice and friendly

the service provided by these staff members will persuade us to book this hotel again in the very near future

We enormusly enjoyed our stay at Shangri-La Istnabul. We we upgraded to a terrace room which was spacious and luxurious. Room service was beyond expectations. The service and staff were very nice. Shout out to Ozgur at the valet service for being very friendly and helpful. We will be returning back for sure!

I can tell that I am an afternoon tea gourmet. I had afternoon tea in Britain at more than 100 different venues. I tried many 5 star hotels' afternoon tea service in Istanbul. Shangri-La Bosphorus serves the best among all! Also If you are lucky Engin Bey will be serving you that day. I had the chance to have their afternoon tea 6 times, and each time Engin Bey was really polite, professional and positive. I also had chance to celebrate my birthday there, amazing taste, amazing service at reasonable price :)) thanks
