We went looking for this place based on TripAdvisor reviews and were very happy with what we found.
The place is unassuming and perhaps a little gaudy but once seated, we were treated to a couple of dips and great turkish bread, free of charge. We ordered kofta meals for mains and they were very tasty. We even used the rest of the dips as sauces on the koftas. Why they don't serve yogurt with koftas is beyond me but that's the way they do it. "No Sir, only kebaps come with yogurt sauce".
The waiter was great. He was very interested in why we had chosen #26 on the Trip Advisor ratings instead of a restaurant further up the scale. He must have asked this about 6 times. We just said we liked to choose a place based on comments rather than rating. He seemed happy?

I am usually pretty skeptical of restaurants in the touristy part of the old city, but this was pretty good. Atmosphere was pretty average, eating outside was not special , just a few crappy tables on an unattractive street with rock music providing sound effects from a neighboring club. But the food was good. I had a lamb with nuts and fruit that seemed almost Chinese or asian in style but was excellent. Every one in our party of five enjoyed the food and it was a very reasonable price. The service was fine and the people were friendly.
