Very glad that we chose this hotel. The position could not be better, central to the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque etc. All the furniture & fittings are of the highest quality & very tasteful. Even the lift ! The breakfast room is lovely , bright & airy with feature brick walls & a tree!
All the staff were very friendly, especially at breakfast.
If we are fortunate enough to visit again I would chose a room at the rear of the hotel as , although the road is quiet , there was some traffic noise fairly early in the morning.

Very friendly people! Especially the man who served breakfast! He was trying to speak in our language in order to make us feel comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast was amazing and the hot dishes were cooked especially for each client. The hotel is very close to all the attractions of the old city, which is very convinient in the morning, but during the night this city area has nothing interesting to do. The price could be a bit lower but still i was very satisfied!

Room Tip: Don t choose the rooms next to the reception.. They are a bit noisy.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days in late July. The location is perfect, just steps from the main street in Sultanhamet. it's a new boutique hotel and we are so so happy that we found it. Everything about this hotel is beautifully done-- the rooms, the decor, and especially the breakfast (we could not wait for breakfast every morning. They are so attentive and will cook you whatever you want!).

I have stayed in many hotels around the world and I really have never experienced a hotel staff as kind and as helpful as the people who work at the Celine Hotel. All of them were so sweet and they really took the time to make sure we made the most of Istanbul. Every time we came back to the hotel we would sit at the front desk and talk to the staff for at least 20 minutes-- they are all so interesting and have great advice about the city.

We came back to Istanbul after a few days in Cappadocia and considering staying in a different neighborhood to get a better feel for the city, but we missed Celine so much that we decided to go back there! I have never looked forward to staying in a hotel as much as I did at Hotel Celine. It really made our trip! Cannot recommend enough.

New hotel. Very nice from inside. Staff is one of the most courteous you'll ever find (especially Tuna (spelling?!) and Ramazan at the front desk, and Ahmet, the general manager). They should improve the WiFi service though. I got disconnected every time I would lock my phone. All in all, a great experience. Excellent location.

Recently spent 10 nights in Istanbul: 5 in the Ritz Carlton and 5 in the Celine Hotel. The Ritz is fantastic with rates to match. The Celine is a perfect blend of old world charm and location and modern comfort and convenience. The owner, Ahmet Deger, is a perfect gentleman and watches over a small, dedicated staff as they deliver superlative service in this 12 room gem. The rooms are tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The bathrooms are top quality Italian design with marble and tile that gleams. Mr. Deger spared nothing in opening a top quality boutique hotel that operates to the highest standards, yet charges a modest rate. Celine quickly became my home away from home; the staff my friends in Istanbul. Breakfast was a daily treat. The staff is generous in spirit and professional in action, just like the owner. Makes sense!! The Celine is a rare find anywhere in the world and a welcome addition to a thriving Istanbul hotel scene. I'll be back!!

Room Tip: Higher floors get a glimpse of the Bosphorus!

We stayed at the Celine Hotel for 5 nights in early April 2013. It was a wonderful option in the Old City, within walking distance to many things (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, tram to the port area, and more). It is a charming 14-room hotel and the rooms are well-decorated. It was quiet at night and there were no problems with noise. The staff were kind and attentive. Breakfast was great - try the delicious halloumi cheese! Our favorite nearby meals were at Kayikci restaurant (short 15 minute stoll from hotel) and at an interactive cooking class at Alaturka (about a 20 minute walk).
