It is a cozy, small restaurant. The staff is incredibly attentive and kind, prices are good, and the food is great! The main dish price includes some bread with olive oil & balsamico, olives, red bell pepper sauce, and spicy pickled yellow chilies, and a cup of çay at the end. The food is simple but tastes great, went there two times in three days! Plus, the music selection is awesome, including some Brazilian samba :)

If you are looking for something authentic that offers different tastes than commonly available dishes try this place out. I wish we had more time to taste some more of their dishes. Maybe next time!

There isn't enough good things to say about this beautiful little gem me and a few friends stumbled upon while searching for food and some quiet as well through the little alleys in Taksim. The restaurant had a beautiful rustic environment and amazing staff and it is safe to say we ended up going at least 2 or 3 more times during our trip. The platters which were a mix of different offerings were absolutely addictive if you need an idea of what to order, but pretty much anything on the menu was a safe bet, and be sure to order desert!

Last but not least, the staff were amazing in every way possible. On a couple of the occasions my friends had their young son with us and we were seated upstairs and the servers were very accommodating and helpful.

Summing it up, this is an amazing spot for a great turkish flavours and well worth a visit after a shopping trip or day out in the fun Taksim region.

Really enjoyed this restaurant, lovely setting. Felt as though you are further away from the main street, even though its right there! There is seating upstairs. Mezze to start was good, so was the kebab. Meat is such good quality. Service was very good.
Good selection of alcohol.

My girlfriend and I decided to pop into this restaurant because of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. It is located in a side street of one of the most touristic areas in Istanbul. It is true that it is one of the very few restaurants that has no pushy waiter outside (don't they realize that the more insistent they are, the more people look elsewhere?) but overall we were disappointed. Poor choice of dishes from the Turkish cuisine and prices on average. The place is nice, the waiters were kind but, to be honest, it does not worth the rating that it boasts.
