recently me and my wife stayed for 3 nights. Splendid time we had. All new clean place and an extremey helpful awesome staff. All of them. Mrs.ozlem, guest relation exec. was extra-ordinary! right from booking time and advise on mails to on the spot help at the reception for anything and everything. I cudn,t beleive when one of them even walked down to the street with us to do some explainations to the taxi guy in turkish. Good breakfast, very close to all important places yet very quiet and nice. Couldn't have asked for anything more for the tariff, except may be a wee bit biigger room!! definitely value for money..

Room Tip: check out room size before you settle down

We stayed in Park Savur Hotel for 11 nights. It was very nice; great location, friendly staff, very good breakfast buffet, clean rooms, good service. Everything was great about this hotel, except that the rooms are small (which is common in Istanbul hotels) and the bathroom has a glass door so it was a bit weird in terms of privacy. However, we loved the hotel and we would love to come back again.

Took a short weekend break in Istanbul and decided to stay in the old town for a change. Hotel was of a high standard with good service and value. The room I had was divided into 2 sections with a separate bathroom/living area from the bedroom. Free internet was appreciated.

Possible to walk to Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet area or catch the tram. Very easy to get across to Dolmabahçe Palace on the tram too.

We stayed 5 nights in this new, modern Boutique-Style hotel, located centrally in a quiet surrounding; 3 minutes walk to Aksaray tram station and 4 stations away from the major sightseeing-points Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace. The rooms (individual air condition, safe deposit box, mini bar) are very quiet; service (especially front desk and guest relation) very hospitable and cordial; international breakfast buffet with fresh prepared omeletts etc.; lunch and dinner à la carte very good. We enjoyed very much our stay in this quiet city hotel with its heartful and helpful staff. We are sure to come back.

Such lovely people - nothing is too much for them! The rooms are modern and very well appointed. Everything you could want from a hotel and just that little bit more -the staff were excellent. Only criticism was the breakfast buffet.. The food was good but where was the Turkish tea and coffee? Why do you serve generic drinks?

This hotel has some of the most helpful and friendly staff I have ever come across.
The rooms and restaurant are just as you woud expect from a hotel of this price range.
Clean , very good room service and good breakfast except for the chemical fruit juice and instant coffee.
Great location behind the Istanbul university; nice and quiet.
Perfect if you are a traveller who enjoys tours and days out on a coach trip.
If you are a walker.....get a tram card . If not you will walk your legs off because it's just around the corner from all the main sights of Istanbul.

We stayed 4 nights in Park Savur hotel, they offered free Airport pick up which was great esp after a long flight and in a new city.
At first they didn't have the machine for our credit card (Amex) but before we checked out, they arranged for it and were very helpful about it.
They provided with a map and guided us with the information we required.
The breakfast was delicious! Large variety and really tasty.
From the very start, their email communication was very good, we felt truly invited to their hotel.
The location is ideal, near a famous Beldiya building overlooking a lovely park, near the Aksaray tram station with great restaurants nearby.
The room was lovely, brand new and comfortable. Quite spacious as well with a modern touch to everything.
I think the only suggestion for improvement is that to add a drainage hole in the bathroom as sometimes the water would build up from the shower area, but it was thoroughly cleaned daily so didn't affect much.
I wouldn't hesitate to say that this could be rated as a four star hotel. Very professional people and everyone knew English for easy communication.
Special mention of Mr Hassan and Mrs Ozlem for their helpfulness.
