“Tripadvisor Gem”

We found that all the good reviews were accurate. Very happy with our meal and service.

I had the bolognese. It was good. We had the pastrami burek which was sensational.

Highly recommended restaurant with honest and warm staff.

“Awesome Vegetable Kebab”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here with friends after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. Wide range of dishes, including several vegetarian options. The vege kebab was excellent, awesome flavors. Was very laid back atmosphere, nice way to spend an afternoon.

“Tea and Relaxation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

Falls has a very nice interior with small nooks for some privacy. Very friendly service and nice tea in huge enamel mugs, which was very welcome after a long trek up the cobbled street. Great atmosphere

“Perfect place to relax and feel happy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

Went in to Falls for brunch. Was welcomed with a lovely warm smile and felt at home straight away.

We choose the Bodrum kebab (I think that's what it's called). It was nice but quite rich.

The service was great and a nice guy made us feel very welcome.

“A gem of a place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

We went there for a light lunch on our last morning in Turkey last week, and I think it was one of the nicest meals we had on our 12 day tour. A very interesting restaurant, with lots of things to feast your eyes on while waiting for food. The assorted breads came with a herbed dipping oil. I then had a huge salad which comprised the usual ingredients plus dried apricots, walnuts and cheese. I ordered a portion of chips which were the best I ate in Turkey, hot, crunchy and tasty. My husband had spaghetti Bolognese which he thoroughly enjoyed. With a large glass of white wine and a home-made limonata the bill was 57TL, not the cheapest meal we had on holiday, but this was Istanbul. Certainly a very delicious meal and will eat there again when we return to Istanbul. And the staff were attentive, friendly and professional
