Be a real tourist, enjoy the art too.

I recommend you, read two famous books from Turkish Nobel prize winner : Orhan pamuk , before you want to traveling to Istanbul.
In this way, you will walk in the Istanbul streets with a clearer view.
( The Museum Of Innocence ) created in the real old house, by Orhan Pamuk , writer of this novel.
This is a museum of objects. The objects that you read about that in the book .

The book and the museum start with this sentences: “ It was the happiest moment of my life, thought I didn’t know it “ .

A must see for Orhan Pamuk's fans. This museum brings you to a new world, the magical world from the book, a different time, different culture. Wonderful every day objects that will make you such an impact on you! Even the neighborhood itself is lovely!

You will really enjoy the museum If you have read the book.
Museum is located in beautiful Cukurcuma neighbourhood and shows everyday life and culture of Istanbul during the period in which the novel is set.

Do not miss the museum. It adds to your experience of what a museum can be. Use the audio guide and take your time to reflect on all of what makes us humans. Go, go, go!
