A great little gem in the Grand bazaar. Somewhat hard to find but its worth it, follow the instructions of a previous post to find it, thats how we found it.
Remember to reach early, we reached a little later than three and most of the food was sold out. The chicken and lamb shish was really good, specially with their signature tomato sauce, dont forget to ask for it. The owner even gave us free apple tea at the end of our meal, not many vegetarian options but the kababs are very authentic, as this is where the locals come for lunch. Loved the strings of dried aubergine and peppers for decoration, wish i'd got one back home to try the dolma. One string costs 15 turkish lira and the owner gives u the recipe free and very lovingly.Must go if u dont want touristic place but an authentic turkish experience of hospitality and food.

It was a little hard to find and most tables were taken when we got their but it was worth the effort. The owner was very friendly and the food and services was great, the lamb kebab (normal spicy) was fantastic, make sure you take a Shepard's salad to go with it. We paid around 30TL for two, can't beat it.

This hard to find but completely worth to do so place in the Grand Bazaar has the best kebap. Melts in your mouth this is the real thing! The owner gaves us for free two extra dishes to taste which were amazing as well..Just thinking about it again makes me craving for it, well you got the message! :)

My god. This place is so far above a thing else we ate in the Grand Bazaar or Sulthanamet it is ridiculous. Two key dishes - the stuffed eggplant and peppers contained a beautiful light and sensuous pilaf teamed with creamy perfect yoghurt (dolmas). The Adana kepap had a little kick, none of this tourist blandness and we were in raptures over the Ali Nazik - beautiful smoky eggplant layers in gorgeous thick yoghurt with tender bee kebap on top. We spent two weeks just doing a food your of Istanbul eating at wonderful restaurants and for our lunch on the last day this is the place we decide to visit again, the Ali Nazik is divine!

The quality of the food at this small tucked away eaterie was exceptional. The meat was melt in the mouth and accompanied by fresh imaginative salads , the influence was rural rather then urban ( SE Turkey?). The host was stand out exceptional - we so enjoyed the dolmades that we came away with a string of the dried egg plant and detailed instructions on how to recreate the dish . On a second visit he produced 2 sweet deserts after we had settled up . Not only did we bring away the makings to reconstruct the exquisite heated cheese dish but he threw in the small pan in which to cook it at home !
