Stayed at this hotel October 2013.
Room are very tight and small but clean.Cleaning every day, changing towels every day
They do not mention that near the hotel is big construction still on,very noisy from early morning.
But the location in general is ok,15 minutes walking distance to Sultanahmet square and Araasta Bazaar (which on my opinion is the best for good shopping in Istanbul).lots of good restaurants near the hotel
Do not recommend to ask staff of the hotel for recommendations for dining
Spa services on very low level
Breakfast is ok,except turkish coffee

Room Tip: Ask for rooms number 01 on each floor,it is the bigest one

The Hotel was a waste of money. The rooms were very small and had no place to put the clothes. The men at the reception were unfriendly and not willing to help. Breakfast was not more than ok, there were no fresh fruits.
The spa was unprofessional, there was no door between the hallway and the spa and even the staff was walking around talking in a loud voice. Not really relaxing.
I would not recommend this hotel at all!!

when I went to my assigned room to was occupied.
the 2nd room they assigned was also occupied.
success on the 3rd try.
the room was poor quality for value and not what was expected from the online images.
breakfast would have been better somewhere else
roof top bar was only a roof top; BUT the view was great.
we booked a hotel transport to take us to the airport and had to pre-pay 24 hrs in advance; it never showed up. the front desk reception (actual person) who took our money just looked around as if we were not there as we waited patiently. after 25 minutes I asked what was happening, he called someone and said 5 minutes, then packed up and left. Transport did not arrive. Checked again ...5 mins......no transport....eventually we had to walk out to the main road to get a cab with the assistance of the porter. fortunately they paid the cab.
this does not make for pleasant memories. Istanbul is wonderful destination but i would not recommend the Askoc Hotel.

It’s really really bad hotel, it’s completely waste of money, first, the room was full of ants, i even have a picture for the room floor with full of ants, second the staff are so mean, we asked for Baby Crib right after we arrived and they said they will place it ASAP, then we left the hotel, when we came back we didn’t find any baby crib, we called them, they told us they are going to bring it within half, after an hour we called them again, they said they don’t’ have a baby crib on the hotel and they are going to manage it from another close hotel, and at the end they didn’t bring anything, the location, you have to walk to reach the main street, it was really a big mistake to stay on this hotel, it looks as an isolated area.
