“Great Spectacle”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2014

You don't realise how big this bridge is till you've actually seen it! The setting is spectacular. The bridge spans majestically across the deep blue waters that flow between the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara. The valley either side is populated with lovely looking villas with slanting red roofs. Traffic can be quite congested, especially during peak hours. There were vendors standing literally in the middle of the roadway on either sides selling bottles of water. A bit harrowing if you are accustomed to more regulated traffic conditions. Do allow plenty of extra time if you are aiming to get to a meeting, like I was that day. They are building the 3rd Bosphorus bridge now which is a hybrid long span structure and will hopefully help in easing the traffic situation. A must see if you are a long span bridge enthusiast. I found it utterly spectacular!

“The link between Asia and Europe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

This bridge connects two continents and thus is very special! You can enjoy the view of this bridge at night from almost anywhere in the city but the best view is from Ortakoy! So go to Ortakoy for some amazing views of this bridge and some memorable photography!

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2014 via mobile

We drove over the bridge then later took a Boforus boat tour.
The bridge is lit for night.
The waterway is full of traffic
Locals catching dinner
The shore is lined with expensive homes
Lots to see
We loved it

“Cool looking bridge”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

Saw this bridge as we went underneath it on the Bosphorus boat ride, nice looking bridge. Wouldn't have seen it if we weren't on the boat, nothing special.
