“From No 4 to No 21”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2013

When opened on the 50th Anniversary of the Republic's foundation this awesomely elegant slender length of suspended steel ( the first bridge to cross from Europe to Asia since the time of Xerxes, who managed to build a pontoon crossing) was No 4 in length among its peers, but since that day in 1973, it has now fallen to No 21. It is best seen in its entirety as part of a Bosphorus Cruise, but it is perhaps even more thrilling to drive across it., Don't miss it at night, when it is illuminated in different colours to create a series of changing patterns

“ONE HOUR CRUISE”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

We saw this amazing bridge on a one hour cruise at night. The suspension bridge spans two continents, Europe and Asia, and at night it is lit up and changes colour. We would have loved the opportunity to have taken a ride across the bridge. Next trip.

“a befitting divider of europe and asia”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

I visited the bridge both at daytime and nighttime . I recommend you see this bridge in day on boat touring on the BOSPHOROUS and hop on to a bus that starts from sultanahmet it takes you across the bridge and returns back at night so you have the nice view of it lit up these buses are near hypodromme and very economical too, in fact a ferry trip can also be booked on the spot here much more cheaper then other tourist agencies

Besides viewing this beautiful landmark you should drive on it like we did with a Taxi. At night it is beautifully lighted. This will Awe you.

“Gorgeous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Bosphorus bridge is astonishing gorgeous! The Bosphorus Bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world and one of the few that spans two continents. The bridge is suprisingly slender and elegant despits its length. You can see it from much of the city, though the best views are in the Ortakoy neighborhood. During Republic Day they actually shoot fireworks and lazers off the bridge.
