-Small but well appointed and clean rooms
-Nice bathroom with hand made soap and a pouch of lavender, very nice touch
- Well decorated communal areas
- Helpful reception staff
- Reasonable breakfast

The only downside is the steep incline you have to negotiate to get to the main tourist area

This hotel made our weekend stay in Istanbul perfect, despite the weather. We were picked up at the airport by the friendly staff of the hotel. The hotel is located in the charming Sultanahmet and within walking distance (10 minutes) of the Blue Mosques and the Topkapi Palace. The room was very small but clean and charming. The breakfast room felt like someone had invited us into their living room, nicely decorated and wonderful staff. Will definitely stay there on future visits to Istanbul.

We recently spent 5 nights in Istanbul and would definitely recommend this hotel for its friendly staff and ideal location for exploring the historical sights in Istanbul.

Location
About 7 minutes walk from Sultanahmet (Blue) mosque, the location is great, right in the old quarter. The area is quite hilly with cobbled streets so pushing a buggy around is a little tricky but the mosques are worth the effort. Also the restaurants around this area are overpriced and aimed at tourists. A general rule is that if there is a man standing outside telling you to come in then you are in a tourist restaurant. We steered clear of these and with a baby in tow, found that the many kebap places were great value, clean and very tasty. The tram stop is great for getting around and you can walk to the Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and other attractions.

Hotel
We had two rooms, on the first and third floors. There was noise from traffic and builders during the early morning, which was a little annoying. Also the rooms are quite closely spaced so some noise from neighbours was expected. The rooms are well appointed with lovely antique furniture and a flat screen tv with hundreds of Turkish channels and the obligatory BBC News channel (I know you don't go on holiday to watch tv, but some other English-speaking channels would be nice).

Staff
From the front desk to the maids to the breakfast waiters the service was impeccable, probably the best level of service we have experienced, it was that good. Nothing was too much trouble, from getting hot milk for our baby to providing breakfast in the room for my mother and all done with a smile.

Next time we will consider staying further out of the centre to get better value and to experience other parts of the city but this hotel is a great base, highly recommended.

Stayed at the Yusufpasa Konigi for five nights with my cousins from Switzerland. Hotel is quirky in design but impeccable in service, excellent in location, and can't be beat for the price. Rooms were not huge but adquate, with modern bathrooms in which everything works. I cannot overstate how friendly and efficient the staff was throughout our stay, from front desk to housekeeping to restaurant/bar. Will definitely return to the Yusufpasa Konigi!

Just came back. It's just today that we left this lovely hotel to return to Athens. No complains. Neat and cosy atmosphere, very elegant decoration, very clean room and really serviceable-helpful stuff .Too muck Rakı and sitting up late, didn't allow us to enjoy the breakfast more than once (which was today, just before leaving), but I have to say that there was satisfactory variety and fresh ingredients. I left satisfied and happy, thinking about the time of my return. I wish them luck and to keep up their wonderful work. Tekrar görüşürüz...

I stayed with my boyfriend at this hotel from 4 to 10 January. The moment we walked into our room i could not believe it! It was so beautiful, comfortable and nicely decorated! The buth tub was big and with a jacuzzi!!!!! It was perfect to use after so many hours walking! The water view was also unique! The hotel is situated in a quite neighboorhood and 5 minutes away from AGIA SOFIA,BLUE MOSQUE,BASILIKA CISTERN. You can use the tram to go to taksim and istiklal road(full of shops). The stuff in this hotel was very friendly and with a smile all time! AS for the breakfast they had olives, joghurt, milk, cookies, eggs, sausages, potatoes, salads, tea, coffee etc.The juice was the only thing i didnt like but ok! Everyday they have different things on buffet but when something is finished they dont bring more of it.I think if u go early in the morning you have everything!!
Iam very satisfied that i stayed at this hotel!I reccomend it!
