Room was very clean , staff really helpful , location is great ! The staff proposed us to visit all the important places we should been at , they were too patient with us , they made us feel very comfort which was really great from their side .
Location is close to all the major attractions which made it even easier to us since we did not speak the language so as to be able to use transportation .
Me and my friends are looking forward to visit again this beautiful country and be back again to this hotel with the warm atmosphere . Great experience in overall and for sure great moments !

Room tip: Higher floors are surely the best since they offer a great view . If first time at the country dont hesitate to ask staff where to go .

We have just stayed for 3 nights here in July. We had a great stay at Sebnem. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended good restaurants and travel agents. The hotel is close to all the main sights in the old city. It is within walking distance from all the major sites. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed. To sum everything was perfect so far!

My family and I were originally a bit nervous to travel to Istanbul, due to recent events in the news. however, not once did we feel slightly uneasy, the atmosphere was always friendly and not at all intimidating. Everybody in Istanbul is warm and welcoming, it's such a beautiful city filled with culture, amazing architecture and diversity. Sennet hotel is very authentic. The staff are lovely and give good recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. The rooms are nicely decorated and there's a lovely roof terrace for breakfast and evening gatherings. There's a peaceful atmosphere, despite being very central. Many restaurants surround the hotel, and it's only a few hundred metres from impressive mosques. A great trip that's thoroughly recommended!

Hotel Sebnem was comfortable and close walking distance to many major attractions in Istanbul (Aja Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Cisterns, etc). The young man at the desk was most pleasant and helpful. He graciously offered to teach me a few Turkish words and review each morning! His English was excellent! The hotel has a rooftop breakfast and lounge area with a lovely selection of breakfast items. Coffee and tea are served promptly. The view over the Marmara Sea from the rooftop is fine with the choice of sitting in the open area or closed if the weather is rainy. No views from the rooms but that didn't matter since we were out and about during the day anyway. Rooms are clean and fresh linens provided each day. We had a wonderful time there and were welcomed back each day with a smile. We highly recommend staying at this hotel and if we ever get back to Istanbul will stay here if possible. We visited in April 2015.

Room tip: Two of our three rooms were on the first floor.
