We spent 3 nights there and loved it ! You are so close to Sultanahmet (Aya Sofia, Blue Mosk,...), it's like 5 min walking. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast takes place on the roof with a nice view over the Bosphore.

Nice small hotel in Sultanahmet area, close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, tram line. Well equipped rooms (if a tad small), very clean, and quiet (even if rear view is not exactly inspiring ... this part of town is a real mixture of tarted-up tourist facilities and decay). Staff is very helpful, breakfast is a nice buffet, and the roof top area has both open and covered areas for watching the Bosphorous in all weather conditions.

This is a small hotel or almost a B & B. The staff was wonderful and the price was great.

Everything for a quick 2-3 trip to the older part of Istanbul is within walking distance from the hotel.

Breafast each morning on the roof top was wonderful and the view looking out at the sea to the Asia side of Instanbul was wonderful

Room Tip: This is so close to the Blue Mosque, Sofia and the Palace that you can just walk to everything.

Just outside Sultanahmet but an easy walk to restaurants and attractions there. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The rooftop breakfast buffet was good with a lovely view of the Bosphorus.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in July. We were surprised that the hotel was practically empty because it is in such an ideal spot. It is a 3 minute walk to Hagia Sofia and 7 minutes to the tram which gives great access to the major sites in the old city and Beyoglu.

Our room, 403, was small but had a closet where one bag could be stored we had just enough room to store the other in a corner. Large suitcases would have been an issue.

Room also included a safe, fridge, desk, nightstands. Our view was excellent- one window overlooked the Sea of Marmara, the other had a view of Hagia Sofia. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, the a/c worked well.

Breakfast was good, the terrace is lovely.

I woke up each morning at 4:30am to the call to prayer but found it to be a very beautiful sound and had no trouble falling back to sleep. If you don't want to hear the muezzin call, do not stay in this room.

Located in Sultanamet - in easy walking distance to all the main tourist sights. Rooms are small but very clean and tidy. Great view over the Bosphorus from rooftop terrace. Right next to the touristy restaurant street (which are pretty average - however check out Cafe Mesale, located in the markets - has simple but really great authentic dishes). Recommend this accommodation based on price and location.

The best thing about this guest house is its location. Walking distance from ALL the major sites in Istanbul. Great Turkish restaurants just around the corner from the hotel. Fantastic view over the Bosphorus strait.

Room Tip: Very steep, narrow staircase not easy with kids to navigate the up and down. Ask for a room on stre...
