Owner description: Also know as the Flower Passage, the courtyard of the Cité de Péra building was once the favored spot for local flower-sellers. Today, the lively area is home to many restaurants, taverns and shops.

Cicek Pasaji is a covered passage along Istiklal Caddesi. It was built in the mid 1850s as a flower market
Today it is a quaint passage lined on both sides with small bars and restaurants. Nice place for dinner.

Right in the centre of Istıklal street, a covered passage with many historic cafes, winehouse's and restaurants. A very beautiful building that used to be a theatre. Worth visiting.

The European style facade of this passage is very pretty, so it is very photogenic and worth taking pictures here. There are some souvenir shops inside the passage, but I cannot recommend buying anything here, because there are other passage near here, some of them are very local style and more interesting.

The location is nice, and service attentive and helpful, but the food is very average. Vine leaves had no flavour and were probably made way ahead and taken straight from the fridge - hard, cold, flavourless. Shish kebab was ok, but it's not hard to cook a couple of bits of meat with a few chips on the side and a wedge of tomato.

Nice interesting building, but it felt intrusive to linger long unless one plans to dine in one of the restaurants. We stayed just long enough to admire the architecture for a few minutes, then took a few souvenir pictures.
