During my trip to Istanbul, I was booked in this hotel by our agent in India. Overall a good experience however I had asked for bigger room which has 2 beds but are separated by a a passage ..and sadly there are NO windows to this room which make s you suffocated. Better to see the room prior moving in / booking ..B'fast is hearty and no complains...

Room Tip: Do not take rooms located in centre....

LaresPark is a handsome hotel, well located on a pedestrianized street close to Taksim Square and all the local restaurants, clubs, and other attractions. The interior follows the conventional style for a hotel of this type -- lots of granite with beige floors, dark wood panelling, brass rails, etc, but the effect is very calming after the sometimes hectic scene outside.

The front desk staff are quite exceptional for their skill, courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism. This was one of the best features of the hotel.

My room was very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with good supplies and both a hand spray set and an overhead "rainfall" type shower. The location of the TV was a bit awkward as it could be viewed only at an angle from the bed. I don't know if all the rooms are configured that way but if watching TV in bed is important to you, you might enquire. There's a tea/coffee maker, although you get only one miserly teabag or coffee sachet per guest per day. There is a good wifi signal in the room, and thankfully it is free (I avoid hotels that charge for wifi access). Unfortunately this service comes with a really annoying, blunt-edged censorship feature. When I tried to open a LinkedIn feature on digital publishing, a got a message that this innocuous item was blocked! I really, really, do not need my hotel censoring my internet usage, but perhaps it's a Turkish requirement. I wasn't much impressed with the breakfast buffet. The coffee was truly awful -- thin and tasteless -- and the fruit juices were watery too. There were lots of white cheeses, processed meats, and some canned fruits as well as fresh ones. Plenty of pastries, olives, and boiled eggs. I found I could get a better, less expensive breakfast in the streets outside.

Overall this is a good hotel in a good location and despite some quibbles I do recommend it.

It's my second visit to this hotel, and I'd like to note the high level of services provided by the hotel, experienced and trained personnel, very goods quality food, very good housekeeping etc.,
However, It's important to note the open-heart approach the hotel personnel uses. They are really very helpful and friendly.
Therefore, I think, it's full with the visitors from different countries talking on different languages. in spite of big number of guests I didn't see any sign of non-professional from the hotel personnel.

I'll definitely come back here again and strongly recommend ot others

We stayed here for one night, to just have a change from Sultanahmet. It is located just off Taksim square. Our room was clean and big, the beds were extremely comfortable and the service was great! The guys trying to entice you into their restaurants outside were really pushy, however this is not the hotels fault!

I stayed in this hotel twice, both stays were pleasant. The room is a bit small (unless you get a corner suite), but very clean and well organized, especially the bathroom. Its location is amazing, the district is full of nice restaurants, and it's safe to walk around the area at night.

Why did I choose this hotel to be my favorite staying place when coming to Istanbul?
It is a place that has the spirit of Turkey, Combining European elegance and Turkish traditions ( lovely Hamam- not to be missed ) has a swimming pool, Beautiful furnished rooms and great comfort, while at the same time walking distance from the Bosphoros and Taxim square.
Staff are friendly and fresh flowers ( my favorite kind, surprisingly enough) were placed in the room.
I discovered this hotel when coming to a conference several years ago and recommended it ever since- only to be thanked …..

From the moment i walked in to the hotel i felt comfortable. This was important given it was my first trip to Istanbul and i did not know what to expect. The staff were very warm and helpful. Rooms are well furnished and very clean. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice. I found the bar and restaurant was a great place to meet and talk business.
