I stay several times a year in this Hotel be it for leasure or business!
It's the best location to discover Istanbul! Located right at the Taksim Square only a few steps from the Metro Station and best night life district Nevizade, Istiklal Caddesi...
Very friendly Hotel staff and stylish, very clean hotelrooms! You enjoy a beautiful Bosphorus view while you enjoy an excellent Breakfast at the roof top restaurant..
I only can recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul...

We used Taxim Hill Hotel for our recent international conference and couldn't be more pleased on all accounts, both as a conference coordinator and guest.

As a conference holder -
their meeting space, technology, logistics, and responsiveness to operational needs was stellar. All meeting rooms were equipped with mounted LCD projectors and screens for PowerPoint and Skype, and the Internet for bringing additional speakers in for 2-way interaction by Skype was high quality with no glitches. There are multiple large breakout rooms available as well as two large plenary rooms. The site is compact and easy to access, allowing for the entire conference community to move from one breakout session to the next while continually passing through the hub of the conference layout to promote participants and on-site staff regularly seeing and interacting with each other throughout the 3 day program. This was important as our conferences are designed to be highly interactive and dialogue oriented to build a learning community.

Staff was very open to rearranging furniture to meet our particular style and needs. In terms of staff, we worked primarily with Ozge, who was a gracious, responsive, professional event manager, and who was always highly flexible in working with us as various typical adjustments came up with our logistics from day to day.

Other additional things worth noting: the moveable chairs were padded and very comfortable, coffee breaks were reasonably priced and offered great snacks.

As a guest -
the site in general is modern and up to date, high quality, and very clean, with spacious rooms and a lot of convenient amenities. In-room Internet was great quality. Staff was very courteous, professional, and responsive, and available 24 hours a day at the front desk. They even helped guests order delivered meals from nearby restaurants when their internal restaurant was closed for the night (a rare bit of assistance from a night desk).

The buffet breakfast was amazing with a huge variety of quality food, including an abundance of fresh fruit (important for travelers). The hotel restaurant / breakfast room is on the 9th floor with 2 full walls of windows looking out on the city skyline. There are at least 2 types of rooms by price: those with window views of the outside and ones those that face into the open center of the hotel. The outside view from my particular room looked out on the Bosporus Strait waterway and continual ships passing by. On the other side of the hotel rooms look out on well-known Taxim Square and the city skyline. Both are worth seeing.

Hotel room pricing was economical and on the low to moderate level compared to other hotels in the area of the same quality.

Location was excellent both for access to the airport and ground transportation, and the fact that you walked out the front door directly into Taxim Square. For coffee drinkers there is a Starbucks immediately next door, as well as great pastry and candy shops, restaurants, and cafes all along the street literally within 20-60 seconds from the front door and open late into the night. There is also a money exchange right next door. Definitely not to be missed - within an easy 3-4 minute walk is the great Istiklal Street, which is always filled with thousands of pedestrians walking up and down the full length of this amazing stretch where you’ll experience a multitude of restaurants, cafes, shops, dance halls, street performers, kiosks selling roasted chestnuts and many other tasty items, etc. Think an open Fair that goes on from Taxim Square to the waterfront but never closes and you’ll get the picture.

We will definitely plan to use Taxim Hill Hotel again in the future, whether for our conferences or just visiting Istanbul.

Room tip: Rooms facing either the Bosporus Strait or Taxim Square are definitely best views, with large windows and lots of light.

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel and I enjoyed it very much. The hotel is very centrally located directly at Taksim square. The Transfer offered by the hotel from and to the airport was well organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, clean and quite with an amazing view to the Bosphorus. Breakfast was ok for me.

Well in my opinion depends what you in Istanbul for and with who! If for shopping this is a great choice! Staff is great and rooms exactly like the pictures in their web site! I was here with my mom and they were very helpful! Something's that need improvement! They need to reduce their laundry costs as its too high and have room service cause some days one is too lazy to move! The breakfast menu should be better! Again the staff is helpful and they try their best to make your stay comfortable but I think these changes should be done by management!
