I stayed with my friend in this hotel for 7 nights. on our arrival it just took 3 hours till check in, and we left our baggages in the Loby, went out exploring Istiklal Street.
My room was clean with a nice view to a local and green alley.
The staff were nice and eager to help
My friend and I each had a single room
The location was good, 3 minute walking to Istiklal Street and 15 minutes to Taxim square, 15 minutes to Galata Tower and 15 minute to Bosphorus.
there is a bus station just by the hotel and you can take Dolmush (small vans) to go to Aksaray.
Just a few things to remember:
1- in each room there is a Safe ( I didn't find this option before my travel on Internet)
2- the hotel do not provide you with slippers, so take your slipper and tootpaste.
3- Internet and pool is free of charge, but for Masage and Sauna and minibar you should pay in check out
4- Breakfast saloon is small compared to the numbers of guests. it was always crowded
5- while visiting Forums and historical places you have to cross security gates, which affects your intelligent key card of your rooms in hotel. sometimes you should ask the reception to renew your card.
for a medium budget I think europlaza is a considerable option.
I may use this hotel for my next trips.

Nice views which is the best asset of this hotel. Overall in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was below average with undrinkable coffee-really poor quality. Location it was not too bad to go to Taxim and Ishabar but I would reccomment something more central. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: ask for view to the city rather than the road

Me and my wife Stayed at Europlaza for 3 days after searching for a budget hotel at Taxim area. The view of the hotel is excellent unlike the other 4* hotels at Taxim area.Rooms are a little bit small but clean and the staff very polite and helpful. If it was renovated would be one of the best 4* hotels. The breakfast buffet was rich and with large variety. I would definitely suggested if you like a clean and economic hotel at Taxim area.

When I first saw that hotel I thought it to be ugly, when I got inside I was disappointed by the plastic flowers. The view though was great. My room was very dirty, the maid was coming but didn't clean it she just changed towels and sometimes sheets. If they cleaned it Europlaza would be a very good hotel and it is such a petty that is located in Istanbul one of the cleanest cities ever.

you could see the leakage of Toilet and other pipelines together with the slightly unpleasant smell both from the bathroom and bedsheets. Breakfast was Ok but not so perfect and there is a beatiful balkony which has a great view of Istanbul for getting seated but rooms are quit poor! you can even walk to the city center as hotel is quit close to there. if you have no choice but going there, please make sure that room would have openable windows.

where to start...6 out of 12 floors are under ground, very smelly rooms and corridors, very tiny rooms, the Ac is not working, has dirty toilets, has such a small bed that your feet will be hanging out of the bed, no privacy what so ever (you will be hearing everything that goes on in the next room even if they were whispering), cheap breakfast buffet, and after all that the staff is rude and unprofessional.

We stayed there for 4 nights. They kept us waiting for check in from 08:30 in the morning till 17:00.
The receptionist and all the staffs are very very rude and impolite and very unfriendly. This hotel is just a 2 star hotel not 4. I can just say that "Not go to this Hotel". Please do not stay in this hotel.
