This boutique bed and breakfast hotel was in a perfect position behind the blue mosque along a narrow road.
The reception staff were most helpful and full of ideas and suggestions.
The bedrooms were small and we were glad we upgraded to a room with a balcony with a view of the blue mosque. There is also a roof top terrace with an even better view of the mosque. Very atmospheric. The public rooms are also compact but inviting with open fires to welcome you.
My only dislike was the breakfast which was a bit of a hotchpotch trying to please all but not quite getting it right. The kitchen was too small to cater for everyone easily. However the staff were helpful and courteous.
I would recommend this hotel and I would like to revisit Istanbul one day.

We stayed here for 4 nights the first week of 2013. From the moment we made the reservation, staff was very helpful solving any questions we had over email. Once there the Hotel became one good experience after another. Complimentary drinks and gifts in the room and around the lobby, good internet connection, very cozy lobby and rooms and friendly staff in general. They also provide an own-made map with recommendations for walking-visits and restaurants that was spot-on!!

Location is perfect for visiting as you have 2min walk to Sultanahmet mosque and 5min to <M> stop.

All in all a great experience to round up our great trip to Istanbul.

Room Tip: Rooms on the street side have nice views but get waken by the Mosque's chants. Not sure if this...

Just returned from 4 fabulous days in Istanbul. The reviews for this hotel are spot on: homely, cosy, beautifully appointed, very friendly service, delicious breakfasts, stunning views from the roof terrace where they bring you tea at all hours. We had a deluxe room and the extra space was very nice to have. Round the corner from the blue mosque so for touring really couldn't be better positioned. We will definitely be coming back as soon as we can!

just off the back of a week staying there.

Simply put, MUTS NUTS.!!!

Excellent staff, friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to help and offer advice.

The room was fantastic, comfortable bed, and spotlessly clean bathroom.

Don't give it a second thought - GO !!!

Room Tip: We had room 306 which, after seeing some of the other rooms, looked to be bigger and better laid out...

We arrived in Istanbul at 5:30am and the hotel driver was waiting for us at the airport. Early check in was not a problem. The rooms were clean and lovely with an old Turkish look and a modern feel. The only thing missing was a water kettle to make tea and coffee. Complementary tea and coffee is available but sometimes every one of the excellent staff members were busy and there was a wait. The breakfast was excellent, (the extra charge for fresh orange juice is worth it), there are several sitting areas, books, CDs and a lovely fire place. The location is close to several historic sites, shopping, restaurants and public transportation.

The hotel is gorgeous, but the staff at the reception desk make it the lovely place it is. Their "orientation" when you first arrive is incredibly helpful (very handy map included) and they are always available for other chats or recommendations. The area is exclusively tourist stuff (restaurants especially), but staff are great with giving advice on getting to places people who live there actually go.

This boutique hotel is in a really pleasant location with easy walking to the big historic sites of Istanbul. Nice room with a deep bath. Very clean and friendly staff who offer you excellent advice. The roof terrace is beautiful on a sunny day. The view of the blue mosque at sunrise and sunset is stunning.
