First of all, very good positioning. Quiet area, cozy, warm, nice architecture, near Blue Mosque, Cistern & St Sofia. Easy & fast access to harbor & tramway, 10 min to each. Right across the hotel is a parking spot, 6 euro/ day - kind of expensive but worth it.
The room - a kind of disappointment - small, no balcony. Despite this, very warm due to excellent furniture - it's a boutique hotel, a "belle epoque" style. And if your intentions in using the room resumes to a place to shower & sleep, its perfect. Otherwise, LCD, Roca sanitary appliances, clean & useful. And perfect price - 76 euro/ night.
The biggest disappointment (but who knows? I'm a carnivore, the western guests might like it with all the cereals, sweet jams & fruits....) was the breakfast. Absolutely no meat!!! Pfuiii.... For sure not my taste. Not the worst breakfast ever (nothing can beat Italy & Italian hotels at worst... everything) but not even close to the best either (I've had even a better breakfast in Lucern, in a 2 star rated hotel....). I must repeat, maybe just not my style.
Perfect service, perfect terrace, cleanliness, warm people. It's a 4 star & for sure worth it's value.
And yes, despite my 2 negative comments, I recommend it. :)More
