“Wonderful staff, great rooms and a very comfortable stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2012

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Istanbul and this great little gem of a hotel.

We felt at home the one we walked into the hotel. Our room was very nice with a great view. On our last day, we were upgraded to an even nicer room. The staff even moved our luggage for us.

Each and every member of the staff was warm and friendly and went out of their way to help us when we needed anything or had any questions.

The location was great and close to all the major attractions.

I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again on my next trip to Istanbul.

Very nice small hotel, located 5 minutes ago from the blue mosque! From the roof terrace you have a wonderful view to the Marmara Sea! The staff is totally helpfull and friendly and if you require something, it is no problem to get it! We really felt very comfortable and will definetely come back! Only one thing: the coffe could be better;-))

Room Tip: We had a normal room on the third floor with Seaview! Was very good!

The wonderful staff at Dersaadet Hotel is like no other. I am General Manager of a casual Luxury restaurant in NY, I am quite aware of how tiring and difficult the hospitality industry is.

The grace and warmth of the staff is like none other, and I will certainly return once time allows me to cross over the ocean once again. I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door.

The hotel is located near all the sights of the Old City (all within a few minutes walking distance)

I wish only the best for this hotel, as it was an absolute pleasure!

Room Tip: Try to book the room with the Turkish Bath, very lovely.

We enjoyed our visit. I particularly want to compliment the entire staff, all of whom were wonderfully competent, helpful, and friendly.
Email is of course most important to us in trip planning these days. Being able to communicate with the front desk in English to convey our needs and have a prompt response from them was very helpful.
We appreciated that when we arrived, we were met and driven to the hotel where we joined friends from Virginia, USA.

The rooms were quite small, but fine for three nights. We loved the views from the roof top breakfast room. The location was excellent. I would recommend the hotel to friends.

The moment you enter this hotel you are in a different world and makes you feel the king of this world. Every hotel consists of staff, rooms, facilities, spas but still many don’t perform well where as in small boutique hotel –Dersaadet, it’s the staff which makes it a perfect, wonderful and memorable stay. We stayed in a deluxe hamam room, the room size was perfect, room hammam experience was wonderful, and breakfast was good enough to keep you going until lunch. Again, I do not have words to express my thanks to staff, especially Busra, Sumet, Umet and two cooks. My wife is pregnant and Busra took special interest and care for my wife. This truly is home away from home.... now once you have read the review, go and book this hotel and you will not be disappointed

This hotel welcomed us like royalty. Was very overwhelmed with the service. Everyone was amazingly friendly. It felt like we were the only guests in the hotel.

The area of the hotel is lovely too. There is a bazaar not too far away and also lots and lots of places to eat and shop. It is a little far from they in town centre, but only around 20lira in a cab to the town.

We stayed for the 1st weekend in November 2012. I came focused to see the museum of science and technology of the Islam but had a lovely vacation. The hotel is charming and has unbelievable views both from the breakfast terrace and from our room window. You can almost "touch" the sea of Marmara from one side and the blue mosque from the other. Our room was nice and very clean. I read reviews of previous guests that rated them as "small' but we found them more than adequate. Breakfast was good with enough choices and, as everything else, was served with a warm smile and a real desire to make us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this hotel.
