The food was delicious there - lots of variety for breakfast and we had lunch and dinner there which was also very good.

The rooms were clean and modern although the wifi was very hit and miss. Even when it did work it was slow.

Walking from the hotel to the main area where the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia was difficult. The roads are very steep and it is a good 10 minute walk away. We'd have liked to have known this as especially in the heat and after a day of sightseeing, it was annoying in the heat. The hotel did order us taxis in the mornings to the main areas which is no longer than 5 minutes away and cost you no more than 5 lira.

The spa was nice. Would recommend the chocolate massage and coffee peel and the Swedish massage.

The hotel was clean, staff were great, rooms were nice enough however the wifi was slow and the location wasn't great so for those 2 reasons we would not stay again.

One of the best hotels I have ever checked in. The employees are extremely friendly and always looking forward to helping. I would like to mention Mesut, who was a great person in all standards, helped us in many things and was a very good source to recommend for us where to go, plus giving us tips and advices. Arzu was also one of the finest people I have met, always smiling, polite and friendly.

Everything in the Antea Palace was up to my expectations, staff, service, location, food, cleanliness, and the room, were all excellent. The only thing that let me down was the size of the swimming pool. It is 5x3 m, so small. I would've appreciated a hot jacuzzi as a replacement to the pool. The Hamam, massage room and sauna were just fine.

The location of Antea is just ideal. It is 5 minutes walking distance away from the sea side, and Küçük Ayasofya Camii (Little Hagia Sophia), also very close to important touristic areas like Sultan Ahmet, Hagia Sophia, Kumkapi Meydanı and many other fabulous sites.

The scene on the fourth floor was amazing. My wife and I had some nice shots there, but I do not recommend it for little kids, I felt it was not safe. I would've loved to have a narjila up there, but unfortunately smoking is not allowed.

"Inshallah", hopefully next year I will blindly check into this hotel without a second thought. I am really looking forward to be in Fatih, istanbul again. Thanks to the great staff of Antea Palace Hotel who had made our stay a very joyable experience.

We stayed there for 4 nights and have absolutely nothing bad to say about the hotel. The pool area was a joke, though: only one little sauna and a tiny swimming pool with really cold water. The pictures were a bit different.

Breakfast was really good and diverse. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious enough and clean. The location wasn't the best, but it was ok. Walking distance to the main attractions.

Lovely hotel in good location. Easy walking distance to main attractions and if you are not feeling too energetic then only £6/7 to Galetta bridge and the Baltic coast.
The sun roof was lovely but does overlook a football pitch so not too romantic and peaceful at night. The pool was small but pleasant to drop into after a sunbathing session on the roof.
Fabulous friendly helpful hotel staff - especially ARUA who went out of her way to help planning days out and laptop access to download boarding passes.
Many nice shops and bars and lovely restaurants in the area. Nice place to explore. Good experience all round. Thanks to all the wonderful staff.

We arrived very late and the receptionist was a little surly but we were shown to our room by a friendly porter. The room was also a bit disappointing as it was smaller than we had imagined from photos on the web and we asked if we could move but there were no better rooms available. Also the next day was Sunday and the football pitch opposite was busy from early morning with young children training and cars coming and going, so quite noisy so perhaps if you book here ask for a room not facing the road. However we got used to the size of the room, the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel very clean and the breakfast provided was first class so, as we spent most of the day out and about in Istanbul, it was a good base to explore the city. It was only about 15 mins walk from the main attractions and restaurant area of the Old Town and although the area seemed quite shabby it was safe enough. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because it had a roof terrace and Spa facilities including a pool. The roof terrace was shabby and unused and the pool was about 3 metres square so too small to bother with! Our friends were staying at the Premist hotel and that seemed to be based in a nicer area so if we went again we would probably aim to be nearer that hotel.

We arrived very early (08:00 AM) and our room was already available. Excellent service for someone traveling most of the night in a flight from Iran. Hotel with good access for main places (10/15 minutes walking distance to main visiting points). Searching good restaurants? Walk 10 minutes to the right of the hotel, cross the tunnel of main road, and enter an area of lots of restaurants with flavors for everybody.

Room Tip: If you want to recover energies during the day, ask for a room way from the playground or play field...

After traveling on the cheap for over 8 months worldwide my girlfriend and I ended our trip in the luxury Best Western Antea Palace Hotel and Spa in Istanbul. The goal was just to meet family, relax and enjoy the city, well, that worked out perfecty. The staff of the hotel was great and our favourite host Guyen made sure we felt like royals all the time.

When it comes to location I can only say that it is perfect. The area is very close to the major tourist spots but on the quiet edge and in a safe and beautiful neighbourhood. Breakfast is good and with lots of different dishes and the spa/hamam is exactly what you need after a long day of exploring the city.

The only negative point I ran in to was the music. It seemed like there was only one CD. Than about the ratings below, for kids there are not so many activities. But than again, kids should play outside, go camping haha.

Overal very, very positive!

Room Tip: Rooms (seen 3) are all great.
