“Not Bad”

This hotel will do for your stay in Istanbul, you really will not get what you pay for in this city when it comes to hotels. Rooms here are tiny, decor is beautiful, food at the resturant and the views from there are great. Locations isn't bad either

Highly reconmend the breakfast, good varity of food... Cons noisy, lobby smells as well as the rooms...expensive drinks, and not worth the value given the nightly rates here.

Room Tip: The higher the better in regards to room, avoid the rooms facing the football field, kids never slee...

Fantastic hotel. In a quiet area. Really friendly and helpfull staff who made us feel very welcome. Hotel is in walking distance of some main areas and tram / bus stops.

Only stayed for 5 nights but would have liked to have stayed longer. Would definately stay there again.

It's had a revamp since we stayed there 5 years ago,we chose this hotel as you can walk to see most of the attractions in the old part of the city .
The room was very small and the area is noisy as its in the middle of a local neighborhood .
Breakfast was ample only hot dish was scrambled eggs and some tasteless sausages .
Staff are friendly and helpful as the Turkish people are.
There are local restaurants all around the one we ate was OK. If you walk under the rail line you can get to the water side where the seafood restaurant s are.
We went to the first one on the right ,we regret going food expensive and dull.

The hotel is not very large, but has all the facilities of a large one. The rooms are not large, but immaculatllyt clean and has air-condition that works without blowing into you eyes. We got a very postive impression already at check-in, Miss Azru made you feel welcome and was very service-minded all through our stay! We can also recommend the roof-terrass with beautiful view over the Marmara Sea. The service is fast and friendly, Erdem took good care of during our frequent visits to terrass-restaurant. To summarize; a well managed hotel with more tha usual friendly staff. Highly recommended!

This is very nice hotel, with great location and most importantly with excellent service. We are a family with 2 kids we spend 4 nights in the hotel. The hotel is very clean, well structured and the staff were very helpful in everything. Definitely we will come back if we get the chance in future.

We have just returned from Istanbul and must say our holiday was made that much better because of this excellently run hotel. We stayed 5 nights and booked a suite room .We traveled with our 7 and 5 year old kids and the room separated the space well,so we had privacy after they went to bed. The bed was extremely comfortable and although the decor was ,well, different and not to my taste the room was comfortable with a large whirlpool bath. A/C worked well and the Wi Fi was quite responsive and free.

Breakfast was fine and changed a bit most days.We had dinner at the roof top restaurant one night and this was also perfectly acceptable with a good view of the sunset , the ships waiting to sail down the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque's minarets.

The pool is well like a large tub maybe 6-7m long max but after sightseeing and walking all day it was like a godsend for our kids to splash about in after the `heat of the day. There is also a Turkish bath which the kids enjoyed.

The hotel itself is in what i would describe as an earthy neighbourhood. Football seems to be an obsession with kids permanently playing football in the street and there being a large 5 a side pitch at the front of the hotel. Our room was at the front and following the other comments i am surprised some reviewers were disturbed by the noise. Neither I nor my wife or my two kids were disturbed by any noise. I can only suggest this may be because I live in a large city where you would expect some noise. Whatever it had zero impact on my visit.

The hotel itself is located very close to the Blue Mosque albeit it is a pretty steep walk uphill when you go out but you are there in ten minutes.

There are a few restaurants near by ( and before you climb the hill). We sampled three of them and would recommend Cise (?) . The one on the corner with the touts was adequate although slightly dearer. The Jamaica bar was also really good.

The service and the staff were`always attentive and our stay was very comfortable indeed. i would have no problem recommending this.

Room Tip: We had no problem with a front facing room and noise - you get the bonus of a sea view

It's a very nice hotel located in the historical center of the city. At first we had troubles in finding the place because the taxi driver just dropped us in the middle of the street saying that the hotel must be somewhere near and gave us wrong directions. However, people were friendly and helped us in finding the place. It turned out to be a good location, because some of the main touristic attractions are within walking distance. The service is excellent. The staff is really helpful and very nice. Even though it may seem that they just try to sell some ads while doing the check-in (they succeeded. We booked a tour, which was really well organized), it was a really warm welcome. They offered some coffee for free and even gave us some souvenirs. The room was also nice, but a bit small for a triple room. After the fabulous lobby with a huge chandelier, it did not meet our expectations, though it was not bad. The breakfast is good. It offers both typical breakfast menu and some Turkish specialties. The hotel has a lovely terrace on the roof, where you can have dinner or just drinks. However, if you want to have a dinner nearby, it’s better if you ask for an advice in the lobby, because they can recommend some really good restaurants.
